Very good hotel after all..Hotel staff are friendly. Very clean... convenient location.. Nice view from the hotel towards the sea.. And surrounding. If front desk can allocate 2 person before midnight will be great...
This is my 3rd consecutive year stay at this hotel, previously known as Hotel Grand Chancellor. My family chose to come back to this hotel for very good location, spacious family room, close proximity to the beach, tram station, shopping and restaurants.
First impression was that the hotel look a bit worn, however the bedroom was roomy and attractive (some decorations on the wall would not have gone astray). The main restaurant was very ordinary and breakfast average while the café in reception was excellent. All in all I enjoyed my stay and the staff were always helpful!
Excellent. This hotel is conveniently located offering best value for money. It's family room is very big. So if you are travelling with family, one can take a family room on;y instead of 2 rooms. We had a great experience here.
Just back after 10 days here, from the moment we got out of the taxi,we were welcomed as a person ,not a number, from helping with cases to check in.David espessially helped me with the free wifi, and as an older person he never complained when I had to get his help, also to the girls on reception who helped me also, nothing was too much trouble. Will also was very helpful. Our room was serviced very good.We enjoyed the seafood buffet and staff really went out of their way to ensure our night went well.My only complaint I FELT WAS BREAKFAST LET US DOWN,WOULD HAVE LIKED SOME TOMATO JUICE AND FOR THE BUFFET Food was only luke warm, but again staff went out of their way to make you feel welcome.,Thank you for a wonderful stay, and congratulations to your team of fantastic staff well done .
Great location above the cavill mall. There is a woolworths right under the building and restraunts are all close. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and a nice area Staff were friendly Cons: parking cost 17 dollars
Its been a few years since we stayed here (used to stay once a month when we lived in Brisbane) Moved to Taree a few years back and health problems have confined us. This was our first full weeks holiday in 6 years and even though the hotel has undergone name changes in the past, the service from all from reception, housekeeping, and the cleaners was excellent. They went out of their way to make our stay more enjoyable, even offering a wheelchair when I had a setback. If I COULD GIVE MORE THAN 5 STARS I WOULD. definitely be back and would recommend to anyone.
Just stayed overnight and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our stay included a full buffet breakfast. Free upgrade and a free drink upon booking in. Great views. A great stay. Centrally located to Surfers Paradise.
This was our second stay at the Novotel Surfers Paradise and won't be our last.. The convenience of it is just excellent. The price was magnificent and included a buffet breakfast every morning which was fit for a king. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was very spacious and clean. Bed and pillows comfy. Well stocked toiletries. The pool was beautiful, and the setup of it is lovely. We used the Bruce Bishop car park as it was just across the road and much cheaper than the hotel's car park.
Myself and my partner stayed here for 3 nights. We chose this hotel as my partner is an Accor card holder and wanted to build up his status points, and we have never had a bad experience with Accor hotels. When we first arrived in our room the first thing we noticed was how dated the room was - old mismatched wooden furniture and the bathroom was very dated as well. We found that no matter what we did, every time we showered the whole bathroom floor would get covered in water and the bathmat soaked. We also found that the WiFi was completely unreliable, would constantly drop out for no reason which was quite annoying at times. Other than those issues, we found the hotel to be perfectly suited for our needs - we spent most of the day out doing things so only really used the room for sleeping etc. We had a balcony view which looked out into Surfers and the beach which was awesome, and the location was excellent and located right by Cavill Mall and all the public transport. The staff were all excellent as well - definitely couldn't fault that! Overall, we had a good experience and just a few minor issues. I can't wait to see what the hotel looks like once it has had its renovations done and would definitely consider staying here again once renovations have been completed.
