Novotel Surfers Paradise

This hotel was centrally located and they gave us a very nice room with good view of the beautiful beach and the surfers. There were beautiful eateries near by and my wife was thrilled to have a big mall next door

This hotel is in a great location but based on my room needs a much needed makeover. Shower pressure was average also and air conditioner didn’t work properly. On the plus side if your lucky enough to get an ocean view room you’ll get some great views of the beach and Cavil Ave.

Stay for 7 nights in june with my family, staff is helpfull, check in is fast, room is big and clean, Location near the sulfer paradise beach and shopping center. parking is convinient have share parking with the shopping center in basement and cost about 17 aud/day. First choice to stay at goldcoast.

On business in the Gold Coast stayed at the Novotel. Ocean views, great size bed and very comfortable. Bathroom and amenities were great and the whole room was very clean. Minor point was the iron which was leaking and made for a slight inconvenience for my business shirt in the morning but other than that a great room for a very reasonable cost

First day was good, then we get woken up by a construction work above us, we did not been told this when we checked in. After talking to the Assistant manager and being a bit hard to negotiate with we received a $65 discount per day for the rest of the week.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Novotel Surfers Paradise, Bear in mind I was upgraded to one of their best rooms on the top level of the building. The views were spectacular, especially by night. The sunrises from my balcony were a sight to behold. My room was very spacious with a comfortable King bed, large beautifully tiled bathroom, so really couldn't have asked for more. I found the staff to be very friendly and relaxed. The pool and restaurant facilities also good. A full buffet breakfast was included in my tarrif and all this in the very centre of Surfers, so what more can I say? Full marks to the management.

We are presently at the hotel, and it has being a decent enough stay. I think the staff have tried hard to make up for it's short comings , they tried to put right anything that wasn't right, even tried to obtain the unobtainable. (That is a decent Wifi signal )😤( l believe provided by a third party , which is absolutely useless)😤 I would like to thank Michael the ever helpful concierge , Kate from Mauritius on the Check in , and the assistant Manager Lisa All who contributed to making our stay at the Novotel more enjoyable. As for the hotel , it is presently undergoing a upgrade and the rooms on the 32nd floor are lovely, we have also stayed in the rooms on the 28th floor with a fabulous view of 🏄 Surfers Paradise Beach , and saw a couple of passing 🐳 whales about 300 m offshore. The jacuzzi is nice and warm , as is the swimming pool , and their are tennis facilities available. The Novotel is right in the middle of all the Glitz of Surfers Paradise, and shares the same block as the shopping centre that has a decent Woolworths . To conclude the Novotel is trying hard to improve, and should be fabulous once all the upgrades have finished.

Stayed here 15th july, Great location, Stayed in room 2715 wall had scribble on it. Shower needs curtain as shower floods bathroom, we booked for 4 adults only got 2 bath towels, breakfast was horrible all the hot food was cold, friendly staff, parking should be included in price. i would stay here again.

We had flown for 12 hours and then had to wait at least 20 minutes to be checked in. The rooms were dated and in need of an upgrade. The curtains were falling of the tracks and did not fully close. The shower lacked a curtain and flooded the bathroom so much that we had to use all the towels to soak up the mess. There was mould everywhere The sliding room did not work properly and I would not let children out on the balcony as the rail was loose. At breakfast the food was running out and there was food all over the floor. The place looked like a pig sty with staff looking disintrested At check out the staff appaered to be not even intrested in the guests. Found out after we had left that they had put an extra charge on our credit card that took 4 phone calls to sort out and a 2 week wait for a refund.

We stayed for 5 nights and enjoyed our stay. I can recommend to upgrade to deluxe room with ocean views... totally worth the extra cost. We had a room on 35th floor. Great views and saw whales swimming past on more than one occasion. A great bonus. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff were totally professional and couldn't help enough for any query or advice. Very central and short walk to beach or nightlife. Courtesy bus nearby to shopping centre
