Our room was very cold and the heating was not working. The receptionist said that they would supply a fan heater, but never did and I did speak to them a couple of times and they said they were on there way but no heater arrived

My wife and I were part of a tour group that was scheduled to stay at the hotel for two nights. The group arrived earlier than check-in time, so we knew there might be a possibility of waiting until check-in time. Most members of the group were able to go to their rooms before official check-in time; my wife and I were the only exceptions. We waited for over an hour for an available room. This would have been OK, but we watched as a parade of about six arriving guest parties subsequently were able to go to their rooms without delay -- but not us. Our Hilton Honors membership, which we cited, was of no use whatsoever. Very disappointing to be relegated to wait until check-in time when so many others who arrived after us were able to go to their rooms immediately.
