I am extremely disappointed with my stay, as the bathroom was infested with insects. Although I provided feedback to the staff during checkout, no attempt was made to contact me to address this serious health and safety concern. Despite being offered complimentary parking, I discovered a £10 charge on my bank statement. I left my contact information for the general manager, yet it appears they have not taken the initiative to reach out regarding this unacceptable matter.

We had a very comfortable, very clean room. The staff were all extremely professional and doing an excellent job. We very much enjoyed the bar and restaurant, the latter great for both breakfast and dinner. The ONLY thing that I would request is that guests be discouraged from using their devices on speaker setting - we had one evening marred by a gentleman loudly watching TV on his tablet while he ate, and breakfast disturbed by another gentleman loudly video calling his chat at full volume on speaker phone. This isn't a criticism of the hotel but would be a welcome policy.

The room wasn’t cleaned. We checked in at 11pm at night and the bathroom bin had used women sanitary products in and in the main bedroom there were dirty takeout containers on the floor. We called reception and it would have taken them 20 mins to either change the bin or find us a room but it would have been a slight downgrade. The next morning we called again to speak to the duty manager and it was said they would come to our room except the head of housekeeping did changed our bins apologised and we always found our hair dryer wasn’t working so they replaced that. We went downstairs asked to speak to the duty manager about a potential upgrade she didn’t apologise she said she only managed the bar. The staff didn’t sympathise with us and said we should just speak to hotels.com if we have an issue nothing they can do as their main manager won’t be back until Monday

I enjoyed a warm welcome on my arrival and was given guidance on my booking and the services which are available to me within the establishment. My allocated bedroom was spacious clean, and well presented with a spotless shower room. I attempted to purchase food in the restaurant just after noon but was told nothing was available, this was disappointing!!
