Nice cozy hotel right in town. Close to Luhr Center, could probably walk to it on a nice day or evening. Reasonable priced. Nice restaurant on site. Free parking. Lovely, clean, room. Great breakfast. Not a luxury hotel which is fine. I get really annoyed with $200+ rooms with amenities we never use. This hotel was perfect for relaxing before and after a show at the Luhr Center. Bed was comfy.

Very Nice hotel in a college town. Because it’s on the main street downtown,parking behind the hotel is a little limited. Nice but pricey restaurant. Food was very good but portions of salad and dessert was small looking like the ads you see on TV of a restaurant trying to look chic more than satisfying. Breakfast was decent with selection being eggs, sausage and waffles as the hot entree all 3 mornings but a good selection of cereals, yogurt etc. Many dining choices nearby. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Very nice town with shopping choices close. Close enough to Carlisle with expressway access easy on/off. Would definitely stay again. Great value.

Overall, it worked for our purpose, but if we were looking for a vacation spot, it would be slightly below average in amenities and quality of room. Staff were great!

I stay in Shippingsburg for the week. It was a perfect hotel. Free breakfast to your room was a big selling point. It was very quite I slept well each night. This is my second time in this hotel. Will definitely return. Thank you

Went to visit my son who is a student there. This is a great hotel for the value- always a pleasant stay.

Hotel was older but clean and comfortable, Good price-staff pleasant and food was great in restaurant. You order and they bring a full bfast to your room which was fast and food hot. Would definitely stay again

The hotel is clean and comfortable. The breakfast was good. If you go to bed before 10 PM or sleep later than 8 AM the bells from the church directly across the street will be a problem. Ask for a room at the back and it will be better.

Nice hotel. Friendly and courteous staff. Especially liked that there is a restaurant in the hotel. The food was very good and the wait staff friendly, courteous and efficient.

Old hotel, but nice and comfortable. The continental breakfast was decent.

The overall stay at the Shippen Place wasn't bad. The two things I had an issue with was, the bed and pillows are terrible. Did not sleep well. The other thing was the free breakfast, I've had a whole lot better breakfast elsewhere.

Loved it. Would definitely stay there in The future

nice hotel with some history.

I stay in Shippingsburg for the week. It was a perfect hotel. Free breakfast to your room was a big selling point. It was very quite I slept well each night. This is my second time in this hotel. Will definitely return. Thank you
