It's a quiet location near the highway, with a Dunkin Donuts across the street. Because of Covid they had box breakfast but egg sandwich wasn't toasted so a little disappointing. So went to Dunkin. But for the price and quick overnight stay while traveling I would stay there again...

I have a mixed review for this hotel. Frankly, I lean towards Best Westerns because I have always felt safe at them. It seemed, on checkin, that the front desk clerk kind of wanted us to go away. When we asked a question, she slapped down a piece of paper and said, “All the information you need is in there.” I found it amusing that an admonition on that paper stressed it was best to get to the breakfast by 1/2 hour before closing “to get the freshest selection.” Upon arrival in any hotel, I check carefully for bedbugs (there were none), but the mattress pad was rather dirty. When I called down for clean linens, though, the other front desk clerk immediately brought them up. The hot tub looked like it had been sandblasted, but was really pleasant anyway. Harking back to the breakfast bar, I would like to very highly commend “Dawn,” a very friendly, helpful staffer who always wore a smile. I’d recommend Shippensburg Best Western, but hope the relatively small issues are corrected before they worsen.

Would definitely return. Our stay started out a little rough as the room initially assigned to us was occupied and we walked in on someone, however it was quickly fixed. The pool and hot tub was clean. Made it just in time for breakfast the next morning. Great variety and the lady attending to it was very nice. Thanks everybody for the great stay !

Picked this hotel based on other reviews and good stopping point traveling from southeastern VA north. Great staff, comfortable room, quiet, and nice free breakfast. I'd recommend.

very good, room was clean, hot breakfast was next morning was good

It's a good, clean, utilitarian hotel. We stay here whenever we are in the area to visit Shippensburg U. Sometimes the hallways smell a little smokey, but the non-smoking rooms never do. The staff is friendly and available 24/7. The beds are always freshly laundered.. Would recommend to anyone looking for a place to stay close to campus.

It was nice to get a good hot shower after being on the road for 11 hours. Then to have a nice bed to get some sleep.

when we got there they didn't have the room we had ordered. they gave us a room with 2 double beds, we ordered king. then we had to move to another room. that room was terible, so we moved back to original room. the next day we were given the correct room. never go there on weekend staff dosen't know what there doing. also had us down foe 2 day's when we paid for 3. room service didnt clean very good. not a great exsperience.

This place smelled so bad of deodorizer that I just left the place. My eyes were burning. I had to eat my bill for the night but it was better then the pasty taste of the room. When I called to let them know that I left, I could not get through. I then called Best Western' support they said the desk person never left the desk. I guess I just think I tried to call the desk as my phone rang and rang. They denied any satisfaction placing the blame on me for not resolving the problem before I left the hotel. Their position is that I did not give them the chance to make the situation right. How were they going to get ride of the smell of the whole place? I had to get away because my eyes were burning, I was getting a headache, sick to the stomach and I was getting growing tired. What was meant to be a romantic home coming turn out to be a disappointment and an education about Best Western.

nonsmoking room that smelled of smoke and noisy kids next door. No extra blankets. Below I said I would recomend it because if we said anything they would most likely have taken care of it, but we are not coplainers.

Went there for an overnight stay for a weekend cycling race. It was very convenient for the location of the race. The hotel itself was average for a Best Western with no elevator. Would I stay there again if I needed another overnighter, sure. Price was a bit high @ $95 / night though, I thought, for Shippensburg, PA? Also, there is a motorcycle track close by and you could hear them racing until about 8-9pm at night. Didn't bother us that much but it might for families.

Some of the lights didn't work in the room. We had no hot water on the second morning and we couldn't shower nor shave. we had to spend the day grungy and couldn't wait to get home to shower.

We visited Shippensburg University. The hotel was very close but had few amenities.
