After reviewing the details about this resort from their website and seeing all the gorgeous photos, we decided it would be a place well worth the higher price than a cabin or hotel in the area. We loved the idea of a 3 bedroom unit with a kitchen and laundry as well as a beautiful indoor pool and outdoor lazy river all in a convenient location, all within a gorgeous setting and tranquil views from the unit. However, upon checking in we quickly realized the oline photos are much nicer than the actual facilities or view. Granted the condo itself was in great condition and was outfitted just as we expected, the view was a total disappointment. The view from our deck was partially a golf course with a few pines, the very close electric power plant and one of the busiest, nosiest streets in Pigeon Forge. Before unpacking, my husband went to the front desk and asked for our room to be changed to one with a quieter, more tranquil view like what you see on the website. He was told by the person at check in that he couldn't do anything, but that he would check with his manager and call my husbands cell to let us know. We never received a phone call at any time during our 5 night stay. The lazy river was open, but not nearly as nice as the online photos and it also had a very busy street as its backdrop. The indoor pool was dated and too small to service the number of people staying in the resort. Overall, the location was very convenient to restaurants and attractions, the condo itself was well maintained and had all the necessary amenities, however the setting is very disappointing and the pool facilitates need upgraded. The online photos need to be more realistic as well. I believe they are very misleading and the facility is not on par with your typical resort & spa condo rentals.

I was torn between Riverstone and The Dream More. I am very glad I went with Riverstone. These are actually vacation condos that are sublet. The furnishings in ours were tasteful and comfortable. The unit included a kitchen with everything you need except the food. They had been careful to not cut down all the trees, so the entire area is shady and cool. There is a small nature walk along a stream with stairs leading from the hotel to it. The outdoor rolling river pool is gorgeous. Again, it was designed to fit in to the natural landscape. The indoor pool and facilities were older; but the spa was pleasant with a nice relaxation room. The only real drawback is a lack of on-site restaurant.

The trip to Pigeon Forge was so great we had to return because of the wonderful time we had the first time we went a year ago. This time we took family because it's so family friendly there's so much to do for everyone. The food is great. The adventure was so wonderful, would highly recommend this to anyone who wants a great time with family. Can't wait to years end. We will be back. Lol

This resort was wonderful for our family vacation. We were in a condo style room, so it was great to have a fridge/freezer, little dining and sitting area, as well as a washer and dryer. Condo was clean and the beds were comfortable. Our view was looking out onto the Little Pigeon River, which was so pretty in the morning. The indoor pool complex was great- spacious pool, kiddie pool, and game room downstairs. We spent a lot of evenings here after activities and the kids really enjoyed it. The location is great because it's about a block off the main road, so you can get to a lot of places the back way without sitting in the main drag traffic. Very close to Dollywood too. Perfect for families. We had a wonderful stay!

The ladies in our family come to Riverstone a couple of times a year and have a great time together each time. We love being spoiled by the staff and at the spa each time. We always look forward to our escape each time!!

This is one of the best places to stay while visiting Pigeon Forge. Clean, indoor pool (that is warm), lazy river in the summer, playground, and creek. Sometimes it is a little more expensive, but we believe that it is worth it.

Stayed here for spring break for 3 nights. We had problems with the room, and the front desk had very poor customer service. The TV in the living room never worked, which they attributed to a problem with Direct TV, but it wasn't fixed for the entire 4 days of our stay. Our room key latch was broken and only opened after several tries, which isn't fun when you're standing outside with kids in wet bathing suits in 40 degree weather! Worst of all, I booked through Booking.com and there was a problem upon arrival with the room having the wrong bed configuration (2 kings vs 1 king and 2 singles), despite the confirmation I received online when they took my deposit. The manager said there was nothing she could do (no discount, no other room, no apology, nothing!) since I had reserved through Booking.com, and I was on my own to call them. When I did call Booking.com, they said a discount was up to the hotel. We did finally get a discount after wasting the first 90 minutes of my vacation dealing with customer service agents on the phone. While the room was spacious and the location is convenient, I would not recommend staying here given the other issues.

We stayed for 3 nights in a 2 bedroom. It was very spacious, spic and span, and quite comfortable. There was a washer, dryer, full kitchen, screened in porch, back deck, fireplace, 3 televisions, pool, hot tub, and playground. I highly recommend this place for families.

Pigeon Forge is an exciting place--the attractions, the restaurants, the things to do, the parkway, the traffic! It's not necessarily the most relaxing place. That's why I enjoy staying at the RiverStone. After a busy day, it's a great place to relax. I can sit in front of the fireplace. I can stay in and use the full kitchen in my unit. I can sit on a balcony overlooking the river and the busyness of the parkway beyond. I can soak in the hot tub. I can rest in a comfortable king size bed. It has to be the quietest, most peaceful place in the middle of Pigeon Forge's chaos.

Wonderful place and great staff. Needed a place to go in an emergency and they helped us find a place for 21 people. Clean and cozy. Everyone was so happy to be there. Can’t wait to go back as soon as I can.
