We stayed with Honeymoon Hills for our honeymoon. Following the directions emailed to us it was pretty easy to find. The cabin was warm and light up for our arrival. It was really nice inside. We enjoyed all week the free tickets that were offered thru booking. The pool table, although a nice feature, was difficult to play on due to the slant(uneven) and lack of room for pool cue. The bed was amazing. It was clean and fluffy. The only complaint from my husband was the toilet and bathroom itself was tiny and hard to move around in. We definitely recommend this cabin. It was secluded and had beautiful views and only a short drive to downtown Gatlinburg. Qe will definitely love to return in the future!!
Just got back from a 4 night stay in the Sweet Romance cabin. We went the same time last year to celebrate our anniversary and plan on going next year. The cabin is adorable. It is decorated in a black bear theme. It was clean and the kitchen fully stocked. My favorite part is the outdoor deck. It has a couch, hot tub, a TV and fireplace. The view off the deck is awesome. It is a short drive to the downtown area about 10 minutes. We had such a good time. We enjoyed the cabin so much we never left it our last day day.
We were married at Honeymoon Hills Chapel in a delightful, simple ceremony. Our cabin, Amazing Views, was roomy, clean, and comfortable. It had an outdoor hot tub and a wonderful spa tub in the master bedroom. We enjoyed the stunning mountains views from the porch. The cabin is up a winding, steep mountain road but we had no problem getting there. My only suggestion is the cabin needs better linens. It is too nice of a cabin to skimp on the sheets and towels. I would recommend both the wedding chapel and Amazing Views cabin.
The cabin was easily to get to sith instructions that were sent in email. The road to the cabin would be better if it were black topped instead of gravel. Upon entering the cabin music was playing softly and a lamp was left on. Door code worked as instructed along with security alarm. Beautiful set up inside the cabin and smelled clean and fresh....definetly would love to come back in years to come to celebrate anniversaries.
My wife and I stayed with honeymoon hills in Gatlinburg for our 2nd anniversary. We booked the cabin Smoky Mountain Dream as it was advertised as super secluded. I guess their understanding of secluded is different from ours. As there were 2 other cabins close enough you could hit them with a rock, while there were bushes in between ours and the next cabin that made it almost impossible to see, they were close enough to the highway that every time a car or truck drove by, you could hear it. The pool table is a great idea, we used it quite often, however the cabin itself is too small for the pool table. Even with the shorter cue stick we found in the corner, you still had to stand straight up and hold the sitck at an extreme angle just to be able to preform your shot. The hot tub was great after a day of hiking and walking around down town. Wasnt a huge fan of them presetting it to MAX temp, but we adjusted that to our liking. The hottub was also very clean. Also the lights in the hot tub did not work (not a big deal to us, but would have been nice to have) The heart shaped jacuzzi is a great idea in theory, however there is not enough hot water to adequately fill the tub with enough water for a comfortable soak. Overall the cabin itself was really enjoyable, we really enjoyed ourself. There is no view from this cabin unless you like looking at trees. Was pretty clean, other than the cobweb in the top corner of the shower and the dead spider smashed on the bathroom wall, no big deal, we took care of that ourselves. We had a slight problem one night when we got back with the security system, it would not accept our "turn off" code, thus setting off the alarm which was obviously loud and obnoxious. I called the owners afterhours help line, to which they returned my call within 10 minutes, but thankfully we got the problem figured out. The key code to unlock the front door worked great the first couple times, but after that we had to put the code in twice every time we came back so it would unlock. I also did have an issue with the bolts holding the door knobs on, as they were loose, i emailed the owners and they sent someone out that same day and had the problem fixed, so overall that was a good experience. As for the cabin location, it is not ideal, as we had to drive 20-30 minutes to both pegion forge and gatlinburg. Which thankfully we had brought our car which was pretty good on gas. The gravel road leading up to the cabin was kind of an annoyance, we had no clue when we booked that it was on a gravel road. In my personal opinion the road needed graded as there were large potholes and a great amount of washout ripples in the road which made it semi difficult for our car to make it up, (we never had a real problem, as i feel like i can drive well enough to understand how to handle those kinds of situations). We were not advised until the day of arrival that it would be a good idea to have a 4x4 vehicle (moreso for winter seasons) but would be a good idea to advise of that before you preregister your vehicle on the website as the vehicle you are going to bring. The romantic touches addons they offer are a good idea, however a little expensive, but however i did purchase 2 of them. I ordered the engraved wine glasses and couples movie night. The wine glasses were great, however with the movie night, it states that with purchase along with the movies, candy and popcorn you get a 2L of coke and a carton of milk, neither of which were anywhere to be found. The candy was kind of stale, however still within date. But like i stated above, overall we enjoyed our experience with honeymoon hills!!!! Will consider them again on our next visit!!!! Thank you Honeymoon hills for a great experience for our anniversary!
I am in awe over my visit this weekend. Honeymoon Hills is amazing. My fiancé and I had an amazing get away. And got to go to the Dolly Partons stampede, thanks to honeymoon Hills. Can not wait to return!
The cabin was perfect! Everything was great inside and the hot tub and jacuzzi tub were wonderful! The view was great and it was so peaceful. Was actually very easy to find with the directions provided and the discounts were great! Will definitely be back!
We absolutely loved our cabin! It was so peaceful and relaxing. We can’t wait until our next trip. The staff are always very helpful and friendly, I would definitely recommend Honeymoon Hills to everyone!!!!
We stayed at "Amazing Views", and it was a very nice cabin that lived up to it's name! We loved the huge Jacuzzi tub and hot tub, as well as being able to sit on the porch in the morning, taking in the beautiful views. We also had so much fun taking advantage of many of the things to do in the area using the daily coupons we got with our reservation. We went ziplining at Legacy Mountain (a MUST do if visiting the area), white water rafting (also high on the list), enjoyed Dolly Parton's Stampede, the Pirate's Adventure show, the Comedy Barn, and several other things - everything was great and we had SUCH a blast! The only negative things we could say are that the towels provided could be of a slightly better quality, and the pool table is located in an area that isn't big enough to be able to properly play a game - but we still enjoyed attempting to! Overall, we were very satisfied with our experience, and will keep Honeymoon Hills in mind for future visits.
Perfect couples getaway! The cabin was in beautiful condition, tucked away, but easy to get to. I have no complaints about our time spent at Honeymoon Hills. Couldn’t of asked for a better trip all thanks to Honeymoon Hills! Can’t wait to go back!
