Our vacation was wonderful. The man that checked us in when we arrived was so polite and receptive. Our room was very clean and smelled clean. Complementary breakfast was really nice with so much to choose from. There was never a dull moment. I really liked the full tour of the wax museum, played put-put, toured Dollywood, shopped, relaxed a little bit, and ate a lot of great food. Great people, great place, great food we'll be back!

close to Motown Sound Show and away from main road for quiet nights, clean rooms, great breakfast buffet

Carpets stains not as pictured on the Internet when booked

Other than the bus ride to the Convention Center was too long (not the fault of the HI of course), the location is perfect - the HI is outside the hustle-bustle area but close enough to get to everything easily. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. I'd highly recommend this hotel for your stay!

We really enjoy this hotel. We have stayed here on several occasions. The location is ideal.

This hotel was a great pit stop on our way back from Washington D.C. to Houston. The neighbors were a little noisy but quit down after I called the front desk. Overall it was a fantastic stay!

The staff was friendly, and the food bar had so many choices it was hard to decide what to eat.

The room itself was great; living area, the bathroom was bigger than the other areas with a jacuzzi tub, separate shower, and 2 sinks, and then the bedroom area. It would have been perfect except that we found out quickly that the walls were very thin. We could hear the TV playing in the room across the hall and at about 11:45pm we could here the guy in the room next to us talking on the phone. We called the front desk and soon after that we didn't hear him anymore but then we heard the noisiness of water running through the pipes next door. It seemed awfully loud, especially considering we were in the bedroom with the bathroom door closed.

This hotel was overall pretty nice. The only problem was that the air conditioning unit was very loud so we used only the fan.

Hotel was ok, spent most of our time at the Dollywood Park and other attractions. The room could be updated, but overall not that bad. Breakfast was common fare, but again it was free so that helped with the budget. Good time overall.

On arrival was told that "[...]" had cancelled my reservations. I handed them my reciept that I printed out from [...]off my e-mail, and they called [...] and was hung up on once and lost contact once. Both hotel clerks did all they could to conferm my arrival. Finally they said ok, and that they would work it out. Not a good experance. Because of the mix up, we lost our room with two twin beds, and had to settle for a room with a Queen size bed. Not what we had wanted. The Motel it's self was good, it was the check-in that messed every thing up.

Hotel needs updating! Old and worn! Hotel and rooms smelled and did not seem clean. Blankets on beds had holes in them. Ask for additional blankets and received more with holes. We were on the top floor and the air conditioning never cooled the room off, due to the heat outside. We did not sleep good due to being hot.I would not go back to this hotel or recommend it to a friend.

When we got to Pigeon Forge we went straight to the hotel. It looks more up to date in the pictures on the website than when you get there. The service was very good and the room was very clean. My a/c was loud in my room and the lady moved me to a different room.

The only negatives: Bees outside where the playground is located. Our room wasn't cleaned one day. My 3 yr old pulled the DND hanger from the door and threw it inside of our room. When we returned, it was hanging from the door w/a note saying that it was hanging on the door and they did not clean the room b/c it was hanging on the door. It was not b/c I told him to take it off of the door before we left.

Good place to use as a base to see other things. Good location. Average facility and features.

Black Bear Jamboree and Wonderworks are very close, and are great for the family...

Hotel was under major renovations of public areas. By the looks of it, it needed it some time ago. Room comfortable, but A/C older and noisy. Check in staff very nice and accommodating. Facilities ok for a 1 night stop over, but think given construction, price should also be lowered.

The stay was very pleasurable and the hotel staff was very friendly. I would recommend it to family and friends any time they are in the area.

The beds were comfortable, room was clean although the carpet need some care. The hotel maid didn't leave any new cups or coffee in the room the second night, shorted us on washcloths and towels. The locacation was excellent, just far enough off the main road that their was very little road traffic noise.

close to everything, clean and comfortable
