Family Vacation

The Haus of the Rising Sun was great for my family of 4! We each had our own space and the views are to die for! There was a bear seen once in the backyard area during our stay according to the neighbors (we missed it ). I would highly recommend and if we come back to the area, we would definitely stay here again!

OMG!! The Views Are OUTSTANDING!!

This place is amazing. My mom is older and needed one level living. She got the downstairs master and only had the two steps into the front door which was great. The views are amazing. The best part - when we walked in for our Thanksgiving trip the place was already decorated for Christmas and there was an air freshener that smelled just like Christmas and it was so welcoming. We did not use the hot tub but it is very big. It has a separate living are upstairs that's great for 2 separate couples or even give the kids their own area. The views off the deck are the best. But then go upstairs and they are even better. Fully stocked, very comfortable with a wood-burning fireplace. It was the best place I've stayed in the almost 50 years I've been coming here. The owner is amazing too. Very responsive! This house has the highest deck in the subdivision and the best views.

Beautiful mountain top house

Comfortable and cozy....except there was quite a few dead bugs around that looked like they had been there for a little while....not sure why they dont vacuum them up before guests come in. Also the twin bed in the nook unfortunately made way too many creeky and squeaky noises to sleep in ....but the pull out couch was nice 👍 and also the other 2 beds were very nice

The pics dont do justice for the views!

This place is wonderful! The sunrises each morning were breathtakingly beautiful. We could see fireworks shows for as far as the eye can see, including Dollywood's drone show. If i could rate higher than 5 stars i would. Its located on a cul de sac at the very top, leaving unobstructed views and wildlife encounters.

Wonderful Scenic Stay ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Absolutely loved H.O.T.R.S! Cabin is cute, clean & spacious. Enjoyed the beautiful Mountain View’s. You’re on the very top of the mountain. Hot tub was relaxing and held temperature perfectly. We enjoyed warm days and snow covered mornings. Appreciated all the amenities. Will choose cabin for future stays.

Perfect GetAway

If you are headed to the mountains to explore Gatlinburg and hike the Smokies, this rental is not for you. The property is so welcoming with perfect vistas viewed from a cozy hot tub that you will never want to leave. Definitely a home away from home, I would spend every vacation here. Well equipped kitchen, 36 bear representations in the living area alone and comfortable beds. Count yourself lucky to book this property.

Best View - top of the mountain!

When I say I searched for the best view, I searched! My family teased me once we arrived because the Chalet was quite literally at the very top of the mountain which in turn, gave the absolute best views. The home was clean, beautiful and well stocked for our stay.

Best view in Gatlinburg, pictures don't do it justice. Property is as described, clean, close to everything, well equipped. Be ready with camera to get pictures of the bears, seen one everyday. Best view of mountain that we have ever stayed at. Can't wait to stay again

Sunrises! Bears! Hot tubs! Oh My!

We had a wonderful time at Haus of the Rising Sun! The kitchen was well-equipped, the house had great furniture, and the hosts very thoughtfully left a huge binder of suggestions and tips! We were excited to see bears from the deck and on the roads nearby, as well as hummingbirds, cardinals, bunnies, deer, and other forest creatures!. The sunrise was stunning in all weather - and we took full advantage of the grill and the hot tub after hiking. A perfect location for our group of friends!

Best view of Smoky Mountains

This house has a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains. We loved spending the mornings and evenings on the deck and in the hothub. The kids loved the pool and we all loved the games provided to play. Amazing place to just stay and enjoy nature.

THE MOST BEAUTIFUL VIEWS OF THE MOUNTAINS

This house has the most beautiful views of the Smokey Mountains, hands down! From the cleanness of the house, the decor, hot tub and to the customer experience we have had from this house we couldn’t expect anything better. This place made our vacation. And all 3 days from 6 am we met the family of bears. Real bears walking from balcony to the Main Street. This was GOALS! 🐻🐻 Close to downtown, attractions, fabulous meals, the Ober tram with unforgettable views, everything was Mesmerizing and memorable! THANK YOU Suzanne and the Haus of the rising sun ☀️ We will be back!
