Fantastic place to stay for a long weekend with family and/or small group of friends. Close to downtown Gatlingburg, but don't have to drive through it if your goal is to do things other than go downtown.

We loved our stay at Bear Corner! It was clean, home away from home feeling! We enjoyed the front porch, hot tub, and game room! Memories were made and fun was had!

A Great Find for A great Visit!!

The place was just as advertised. It was clean, spacious, and located just where you could get to everything but still be away from it when you were there. Perfect location! Perfect house!! Would definitely stay there again.

Cabin was just an advertised. There were four of us with three separate levels in the cabin there was more than enough room. The porches were awesome. We even had a visit from a bear on the last night of our stay. He came for the grilled hamburgers but unfortunately had to leave hungry

Bear Encounter

Beautiful lodge in a quiet forest setting. We were greeted by the neighborhood bear on our arrival! Our family really enjoyed sitting out on the deck and chatting about our day! It was a perfect location for our vacation plans. We look forward to staying at Bear Corner on our next trip to Gatlinburg.

Tranquil and comfortable mountain home

Too a spontaneous trip for Valentine’s weekend and found a diamond in the rough. Lots to keep you entertained and enough room for a large family. Will definitely refer to friends and highly recommend!

Perfect Location to Gatlinburg

The check-in process was super easy! Cabin was very clean with all the essentials. We really enjoyed using the rocking chairs on the main porch to watch the snow falling with the mountains in our view. We also loved playing pool! We have visited Gatlinburg many times for vacations and this cabin is now one of our favorites!

The cabin was very nice and was just like the pictures posted online. The location is excellent, close to everything in the area but far enough away from the crazy Parkway. On arrival (late afternoon) we found the hot tub was not working. Message sent via VRBO to David and response recieved quickly with some trouble shooting things to try. Nothing worked, another response sent to David again a quick response received that they were escalating the problem to maintenance. Hot tub was fixed the next day by the time we got home from the days activities. Cabin is great for families with older kids because bedtrooms are each on a different level which gives everyone space. Gameroom in the lower level was fun although we did not use it as much as we would have liked because we were always tired at the end of the day. We did see a bear one morning while heading to the main road. Highly recommend this cabin.

The cabin was very private and the driveway was very steep! We really enjoyed how much space there was. The living room was spacious and welcoming. The beds were comfortable except for the pullouts, please replace them. They are so old and worn, the floor would have been more comfortable than those mattresses. We expected the home to be more than surface cleaned. At first glance, it was clean but overall it needed a deep cleaning and it was obvious that the cabin wasn’t prepared for our stay. The exterior was covered in cobwebs and dead foliage. The outside of the windows were so covered with cobwebs some were difficult to see through. All of the sinks need replaced. They are old, stained and have dirty stress marks. Much of the grouting needed replaced near the tubs and the floor in the master bath has obvious water damage. Walking down the stairs from the master, we saw cobwebs in the lamps. The final straw was the bathroom in the basement. My husband walked in from the bedroom and walked through a cobweb in the doorway. There is a seat in the shower with a mat on it. It was so gross with a large amount of mold surrounding it. Our expectations may be too high but we are paying a cleaning fee for all of the cabin to be cleaned.
