Rooms were outdated but very clean. Good breakfast. Located 1 block from the beach.

The hotel & staff itself isn’t bad it’s the thugs & trash that roam the area.. on vacation you wanna be worry free but I couldn’t help but be worried for my family safety.. homeless people walking up as you leave room asking for money or people smoking dope by vehicles in hotel parking lot.. at check in 5 guys standing around me bragging about having guns in their waistbands while checking in at window.. beachcomber inn isn’t at fault it’s just the type of people that are taking over Galveston area

When checking in I was asked how many nights I would be staying. I informed them that I would not know till the filling morning and was asked to inform them when I know . I attempted to extend my stay and talked to the front desk at 4:30 am and was told to check with the desk after 7 am. When I talked with the desk after 7 I was told the room was available but at over twice the rate as the night before.

Good place to stay for the money you pay 58$ 1 day and night

Beware the place has bed bugs!!! Room had a musty / moldy smell, stain bed sheets covers with cigarette burns and covered with hair

Clean well located property for my needs . A friendly and helpful staff.

It is a ok place to stay but the breakfast offered could at a minimum have fresh fruit ( bananas , oranges , grapefruit ( all plentiful in south Texas) and apples

It’s close to the beach but the bed was the hardest bed I’ve ever tried to sleep on. I woke up hurting horribly.

Very nice motel and a great price one block from the beach. Only complaint was not enough outlets in room. All are being used and no where to plug in phone chargers

Staff is always nice. They allowed me to check in early. Convienent location.

Nice size rooms, clean with good a/c. Overall good room for the price. Easy walk from hotel to pier 61and beach area.

good check in and out excellant staff good parking spaces

Nice place to be. Everything is close by: the beach, stores, restaurants

Got there at 11:30 pm and check in took over 45 minutes, mostly because many who already received keys to their rooms kept coming back to complain about their rooms and get different ones. We finally got the keys to our room, with 2 toddlers asleep and in tow we climbed the stairs and got our to our non-smoking room. Our room reeked of smoke! Went back to the front desk but the line was even longer and saw more guests turning in their keys for different rooms for similar issues, so we gave up. If a hotel is going to charge for smoke remediation they should do it! Spent the night in the awful roach infested, smoke smelling room. The next day all our clothes and persons all smelled strongly of smoke, and my sinus were acting up because of it. Hotel was cheap but it would've been better to stay off the island for the conditions of these rooms.

Room Was Clean. Price was affordable. Was Really close to beach and lots of restaurants and stores. Would Stay again.

From the outside it looks scrappy but on the inside its actually nice. The room was more clean than the other hotels that I've paid $200-300 more to stay at in the area. Staff is friendly, overall it was nice and clean and had towels which is more than I can say than about these other hotels in Galveston.

Very expensive price for a dive motel. I would never stay there again. Very bad location away from the beach, swimming pool not much bigger than a bathtub. A lot of partying people that keep you up all night partying. I am very disappointed and would never ever stay there again. Staff is unorganized, not professional

It was decent for the price nothing to complain about.

I had a great stay, nice room, great location. Good breakfast, satisfied with everything.

Hello anonymous, unfortunately, some guests do bring bed bugs in to the property. We do our best to eradicate them as soon as we are made aware but there is no way to predetermine who is bringing in the bed bugs. We wish you would have let us know about it during your stay instead of just complaining anonymously online.
