Perfect space for a girls weekend in Galena, walkable to downtown. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, antique furnishings and nice common living area. Our host responded promptly to questions. Our only minor issue was road construction making it slightly difficult to find the house.

We had such a wonderful experience. Host was great at communicating and was so kind to leave a few treats to enhance our stay. The accommodations were very quaint, comfortable and clean and appreciated that they stocked items just in case (toothbrush, shampoo, etc.). Parking was a big plus as was the very close proximity to downtown Galena- easy walk but far enough away from the hustle & bustle. Hope to stay again soon!

We've stayed here twice and each time has been fantastic. Hosts are very responsive if needed. There was no hot water our first stay and the host had it fixed within a couple of hours, fantastic! They add a lot of homey touches, have little things you may need (scissors, wine opener, coffee pods, first aid kit, paper plates etc). the location is walking distance to Main St. if you're a light sleeper it may be a bit noisy with the train and some traffic, but we weren't bothered by it.100% recommend and would definitely stay again!

Very cozy and perfect location

Great place walking distance to historical downtown Galena. Rooms were cozy and beds were very comfortable. I typically have a hard time sleeping in a different bed from my own, but these beds were great. Look forward to staying here again!
