Staff was pleasant. Room was clean. Felt more like a hotel than an inn or a B&B. No breakfast included is the biggest negative.

We loved the place over all. So quite and beautiful. Great dining room, inside and out! Nice place to relax. We will go back again on our next trip to New Brunswick!

Stayed there for one night! The room was supposed to be non-smoking room but it had a cigarette smell. It has an amazing view over St. John River. 10 min drive from Fredericton.

The staff were excellent. They answered all of our questions about the area and were helpful when we asked for directions to the attractions we were travelling to. The room had all the amenities we asked for. The room, bathroom and linens were clean. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there. They had a pipe burst and we were without water on our last day but the hotel gave us a room at a really good deal on out way back through Fredericton. They even offered us a free breakfast. We were happy with our stay there.

We really enjoyed the Riverside Resort. The grounds are beautiful, with a field rolling down through a short forest path to a lake. Our kids ran and played and rolled and laughed. What a lovely evening we had! The hotel is nice but you get the feeling the owners have fallen on hard times. Everything looked like it needed repainting, the indoor pool wasn't in great shape (though it was fine for the kids) and the flower beds hadn't been weeded in some time. The restaurant was really nice. Good food, nice waitress, reasonable price. We will go back to the Riverside Resort next time we're in the area.

We travel to this area every year and have passed this place thinking it wold be too pricey for us. We were pleased when it came up in the search and was not as expensive as we thought. Then we saw the place up close. It is badly in need of refurbishing. There is peeling paint and wood rot outside, tacky chipped furniture, stained tile grout inside. Some rooms had a nice view, but ours did not. The location is fabulous (!), and the staff were very nice. Nothing about the room was inviting, from the cheap chipped furniture, to the thin and worn single blanket and no spread on the beds, to the very small TV, no drinking glasses, and an oddly narrow tub/shower. We saw some evidence of painting on one side...so maybe they are working on it.

This property is beautiful but in need of updating. The rooms are basic.
