Stayed twice for a sports related trip. The first experience was unpleasant as another tenant did Nothing but complain about the kids who were doing nothing but hanging around. The second trip was this past summer and the fridge was not emptied nor was the bed touched. As I got into the bed the flat sheet was down at my feet as if the bed was not made. I did go to the front desk and the gave me new sheets and did take off something towards the price of the room.

We stayed here for work in September for a night and was on the third floor I believe it was. All the rooms in this hotel have been redone and there was still that ‘new’ smell... fresh paint, new carpet, new furniture, etc. We have been staying here again for work and it has been awesome thus far and I’m sure it will continue to be until we leave. We are on the first floor this time with our own ‘private entrance’. The staff are so friendly - they go above and beyond and also try to get to know you and are always around if you want to chat! Thank you! Housekeeping is wonderful and always on the ball with fresh towels and whatever else you may need. Love the bottle of water each day - perfect for my workout. Beds and pillows are comfortable - I seriously want to get myself a pillow or two, like the ones here. You’ll have a good sleep, trust me! Breakfast is also delicious - it’s a hot one with bacon, sausage, hash browns, eggs, beans, variety of pastries and muffins (baked fresh), cereals (hot and cold), waffles, yogurts, fruit, assorted teas, coffee, hot chocolate, etc. There is no pool but there is a sweet gym with treadmills, bikes, ellipticals, whole full body workout machine with a leg press and weights all in one (not sure what you call it, free weights, exercise ball, mats and a bench. Out of all the hotels this one has to be my favorite - the equipment is new and a leg press... it’s great! I also love that there is a TV in it - workout and watch a show or movie at the same time... it’s perfect. When I say... one of the best on the East Coast - I mean it (I have been to several hotels across the East Coast since September) and nothing compares to it. Thanks everyone - you definitely have made our stay (well at least mine) brighter!

This hotel lives up to what it advertises to be.... this is not always the case. While the Quality Inn by the Halifax Airport has all the same amenities, it is old and shabby, that they can not be compared. The Quality inn Amsterdam , in Fredricton is also easy to find and the staff are friendly but it is so very light, clean, well laid out, efficient bathrooms, comfortable beds, good quality linens and the free breakfast offers everything one could wish for.... There is something for everyone. On future road trips. we will definitely try and arrange our route to allow us to stay here again.

The Quality Inn Fredericton was a great value. The included breakfast was very good. The room was very clean and attention to detail was noted with the mints and bathroom light. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Only issue is my room wasn’t touched up each day. I’ll be returning here next year.

We were lucky that this property in Amsterdam had electricity during the hurricane Dorian. The staff is very helpful and were instrumental in directing us to restaurants that may be open for dinner (Kim's Fry was great!). The only issue we had was that a group of high school students were staying on our floor and were very loud and antsy. After complaining, the front desk staff did speak with the group and it did get better. Breakfast was typical for chains.

I waited a month to write this review, thought I might hear from management. We arrived at 2am, after a very long day. We had made the reservation long before. Check in was smooth and all we wanted was a bed in a clean room. We walked into the room, my husband collapsed into the bed (which was not fully made) and I headed to the washroom. Once I turned a light on, it was clear the room had NOT been cleaned. I snapped a few photos and headed to the front desk. The receptionist looked through papers and determined the room had not been cleaned after the previous guest and the hotel was fully booked. It is 2am and I was exhausted. In the end I was given clean sheets and towels and went back to change the bed and the towels. The receptionist assured me I would not pay for the room and a gift card would be given to us. We did not pay for the room and a gift card never came, nor did I ever hear from management. A couple weeks after the stay I sent and email and basically still no gift card. Changing linens at 2am and being in a room that was not cleaned (or replenished with coffee etc) was not acceptable. Personally do not feel that a free nights stay did NOT compensate us for this. The receptionist was a sweet young lady and she did all she could do. We often stay with this chain when traveling, since all we want it a clean comfortable place to sleep.

I have stayed here twice for business and everything is above average. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. There is coffee and tea all day. The beds are comfortable, fridge in the room. I had a floor level room so I had a nice adirondack chair to relax after supper. If you like craft beer, go across the street to Grimross.

We visited during renovations so some of the parking lot and hotel were closed, however the rooms are all quiet and have a nice view. Overall, loved the all included breakfast and staff were able to assist us in accommodating our large family.

Hotel is under renovation. The 2 rooms we had have been renovated with new furnishings and decor. Once the renos are complete the hotel will certainly compete with the newer Hampton Inn down the street. Check-in was ok. The only attendant was on the phone with another customer so we had to wait until she had completed with this customer. Complimentary hot breakfast was typical of most with scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, etc. and was quickly refilled as needed. We appreciated the attendant at check-in advising us to avoid the first hour of breakfast as they had a bus tour staying at the hotel and they would be eating at this time.

We booked this hotel well in advance and when we got our confirmation email they had booked the wrong month. We called and explained and they changed it to the correct date. THEN WE GOT CHARGED ON OUR VISA FOR THE DATE THEY HAD INCORRECTLY BOOKED US! We had to call and tell them they charged us as a no show for the date they had made the mistake on. Then I get a call from them saying we’ll just leave it on your visa and when you come next month it will be paid for. I said no I wasn’t paying for the room until I was sure I was travelling. She said ok, fine and actually hung up on me! Upon arriving at the hotel there was construction being done to it. I joked, I hope our room isn’t in the middle of all the work being done, the girl at the front desk very flippantly said all they were doing was moving some furniture. Well that was definitely not the case. Our room was next to where all the construction was being done with a large barrier outside our door saying not to go past. We were woken the next morning to workers outside our door. The hotel is actually a nice hotel and had everything we needed. I just felt their front desk could use a little more diplomacy. Very disappointing.
