Staying here was like staying in a studio apartment. It has a couch, kitchen (with stove and full fridge) and a nice little table to eat at.

My boyfriend and I went to Frederick as a central location to hiking and Civil War history for a three day weekend. The location was no more than 30 minutes to most attractions and close to historic Frederick . The hotel had a nice room, appliances, an indoor pool, complimentary breakfast, but the most uncomfortable bed ever. We both ttossed and turned all three nights. There was a flood light shining directly in our window. Almost impossible to get the room dark at night. The staff was friendly and we had no other isues.

I wanted an inexpensive, clean, safe place to stay while visiting family. The Main Stay fit my needs. There is a note in the room that says, suites are cleaned weekly however, my room was cleaned daily. The kitchen was adequate which allowed me to cook healthy meals and save money. The fitness room is tiny but the equipment was clean and in good working order. The staff was friendly. There are several restaurants and shops near the hotel. The hotel is definitely an older facility but for what I needed it was fine. It is a good deal for the price.

Good stuff! The hotel was clean and convenient. The staff helpful and the overall quality of our stay was fantastic.

Room was great no complaints, want breakfast you are better off going to the I hop across the street. Overall was perfect for me. Was attending a class at the power plaint.

It was clean, in good repair and very comfortable. With a mini-kitchen, queen bed, table, living room set and windows that actually open at a very reasonable price, I'll stay here any time I'm in the area.

Having a full suite with efficiency kitchen is a nice touch even for a short stay. Simple but roomy and comfortable. The facility amenities were not huge but I didn't stay there for a spa environment. I would stay there again and recommend it to friends for a "base of operations hotel for short vacation stays in the area. Breaksaft could have been better but that's the only complaint I have and it's mild as i didn't stay for the free food either.

It was a good price. I would stay there again. The front desk guy was helpful and informative.

We vacationed in Frederick due to its location. This hotel is located right off fhe interstate within easy driving distance (less than 50 miles) of Gettysburg, Antetium, Washington D.C. , Baltimore and Harpers Ferry. So for anyone interested in Civil War (or American history in general) will love Frederick. Our hotel stay was outstanding - Clean, comfortable "suite"with a very freindly and helpful staff at a very resonable price and looked forward to getting back to our room after a busy day of sight seeing. We would recommend this location to our family and freinds and would stay here again. If you don;t want to cook your own meals in your room there is a Mall right acros e street with numerous choiced of restarants and a "multi plex" movie theature. We were very satisfied with our experiance here.

Room missing some lights and no door knob to closet.. Room a little small

This hotel was old out dated, dark, dirty and noisy. If I had known that they were going through renovations, I never would have stayed there!!! It was a horrible scary experience. The hotel, in a word, was seedy. 'I will, from this point on, always, check the hotel before ever booking on this sight. It is a matter of safety.as well as comfort. The laundry washing multitasbking ring the bell because I'm doing the sheets, check in clerk was very nice.!!!

Pleasantly surprised by the room, which had a stovetop and a dishwasher, as well as microwave & refrigerator. The frig, however, did not work (would not make ice, refrigerator was barely cool). I left them a detailed note about defects, however. It was supposed to be a handicap room, yet there were no grab bars in the bathroom. I have bad knees, so it was difficult to get down into the tub. Slept well, enjoyed the LCD tv. I spent some time online, and I truly enjoyed the "table" and office-type chair provided. (table=dining counter). The hotel intake room was under major renovation, including carpet, intake desk, and so on. Staff helpful & nice. My door did not want to close, so I had to be sure to lock it up.

it was clean, in good area, and quiet at night. I would stay again.

Quiet, comfortable, clean, convenient, roomy, great value. The place I will stay when I visit the area.

Room was clean, nice size, comfortable beds, kids had a nice swim in the pool. Staff was some of the friendliest I have ever come across at a hotel, very helpful. Continental breakfast was ok, could be improved.

Enjoyed the location and eveythng worked out great

Staff was fantastic--interactive and personable. Staff joked with us and were "human".

Good stop mid way to our destination

Stopping for the night for a place to sleep and get breakfast on the way to the beach. Price was right at about $80 for a Friday night. The room was OK...nice kitchen and utensils (very nice to have with a toddler and pregnant wife). No issues with cleanliness of room. Air conditioner was extremely loud but overall room was OK. Old and outdated but OK. Continental breakfast was good, refilled twice in the hour we were there so we got to eat well before our drive. Pool was nasty. The hot tub was drained and there was a basket of wet towels just sitting on the side so it just seemed unsanitary. Lobby bathroom had no TP. The place served its purpose but I wouldn't stay again.
