Enjoyed our brief stay... this is a dog friendly hotel, Yeah!... Tasty Hot Breakfast each morning. The hotel is very clean...staff very helpful and outgoing in their wish to help guests. Great patio area...basketball hoop, swimming pool...bbq grills and billiard table.
Stayed at this hotel on the way to and from the outer banks. The hotel is fairly new and our room was clean. Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. On our return trip-I had to wait over an hour for the room to be cleaned. It was a greater inconvenience than usual as I was on crutches and in a lot of discomfort. Once we got in, the room stunk of cleaning chemicals and the floor of the kitchen area was soaked. I almost wiped out. Breakfast was great on the way down and totally not great on the second time. The second stay was Labor Day weekend, but you would think they would have had it staffed better. I do plan on staying there next year-it’s a great location-right off of 270 with great shopping and restaurants within a mile of the hotel.
My husband and I had to evacuate Florida before Irma arrived to get to our granddaughters wedding on time. I had booked this hotel for three nights. But now I needed it for Three more nights. When I called to ask if it was possible to have a two bedroom suite for the entire stay as nice as Betsey was she could not promise. Completely understandable. However, after fleeing Florida for four days The marriot people surprised us by having our suite available. Kathy and her entire staff treated us like family. They were wonderful in helping us plan our days and gave us the best places to eat and site see. We cannot thank these people enough. We will be forever grateful!!!!
Hotel was easy to find. I don't know why hotels were so hard to find on this particular weekend, but I felt it was overpriced. The room was clean and spacious, although the queen sized bed felt more like a double. Despite being animal friendly, the hotel was very quiet. A very nice and hearty hot breakfast in the morning.
Stayed here for only one night while traveling from Calgary to Harper's Ferry. The rooms were well furnished and the light was ample for reading or working on the computer. There were plenty of electrical outlets. We had a one bedroom with a separate office/living room. The only major complaint is the noise from flushing the toilet. Hard to sleep through. The included buffet breakfast was plentiful and adequate for its purpose. Staff was friendly and helpful.
Stayed two nights while in Frederick for a wedding. My brother and his girlfriend shared one of the two bedrooms while my wife and I shared the other room while our daughter used the common room with a fold out couch (she likes them). Comfortable beds, spacious bath facility. Full kitchen with utensils and cooking vessels. Staff was friendly. Location was pretty good. Several good restaurants and the Francis Scott Key mall very close. Also the Monocacy National Battlefield is close. Nice common area in the lobby and there is an outdoor common area that has grills. Don't know if anyone could use them or if was there for special occasions. Either way, nice touch. All in all, a comfortable stay.
The rooms have been remodeled. They are clean, large and comfortable. The staff is very friendly. They recently obtained a liquor license, so they now can sell wine and beer. The only disappointment is the quality of their cocktail hour snacks. The Hilton, Homewood suites, does a much nicer job and offers free wine and beer.
My husband and I stayed here for 1 night while picking up our puppy. Good news is that they do accept dogs but with a $100 non-refundable deposit. I though that was a little steep but there were no rooms available elsewhere and we were tired. The room was very spacious and clean and the bed was comfortable. They offer a complimentary breakfast buffet that was tasty. I would recommend this hotel.
Hotel was immaculate and well-maintained. Stylish décor. Best part of this stay was the front desk staff, who were, without exception, friendly, personable and welcoming. Sometimes front desk personnel can be indifferent, bored, preoccupied or slightly suspicious of you when you enter or exit. This front desk staff was the exception to that general rule. They gave new definition to the word 'hospitality.' We loved our stay and would return in a heartbeat.
Stayed only one night but the rooms were good. they have a 2 bedroom suite that truly makes traveling with your kids a true vacation. the front staff on check in and departure were very welcoming. It's 10 minutes from downtown frederick but there is lots of uber availability.
