Hotels.com says there is but NO they phone a cab..and it is 20.00 Euros and if you don’t have that credit card is metered and cost 27.00 Euros!! DISINGENUOUS...12km to airport do not KNOW why they advertise as “airport” hotel!! AVOID!!!!!
Booked two nights for 450 Euros. Yes 450!! Changed plans and needed to cancel one night. Not possible. So it was 450 for one night! Plane delayed, so didn’t get there until 7.30pm. No bar, kitchen closed. They advised me to go 400m to a restaurant. It was raining heavily So no meal No receipt possible, told me to go back to booking.com Wanted taxi to trade show. They said they would let me use their transportation I checked. Was it going to the show? It went to the airport!! Useless hotel, terrible room, crappy shower AVOID!!
I would not boob this place ever again . I paid in advance with no refund. Had i known the price of the shuttle would never booked in the first place. I ended up forefiting my full deposit because they didn't tell me about the schuttle charge until I had paid the deposit.
15km away from Frankfurt Airport. Quiet enough if the background sounds of the cars from the highway and/or the plaines are not an inconvenience for someone. Clean room, big enough, friendly staff that needs to improve their English skills. No possibility to have dinner in the hotel however there is a place 2min from the hotel that serves good Thai food.
Unlike the complaints I had read, this hotel is only 15 minutes from the airport, with decent price and plenty of parking. However - finally asleep a tour bus came in and the doors started to bang around and of course I was mad at the other guests. Then it came time for me to leave in them morning and I could not close the door. After trying a few times, I had to do the same: slam it shut with all my might. There is not much to the room, but who needs a lot, when it is just to sleep prior to departing for a flight? The rooms are actually huge, but the bathroom door slams into the shower. The gentleman checking me in was very nice as well.
I needed to have a bed to sleep in for one night, as my international flight left very early the next morning. Therefore, I booked an airport hotel, and decided for a simple one, since I only needed a bed and a shower. However, this hotel is cheap and decent for the prize, but there is one catch. There is no shuttle service from the airport to the hotel, thus you need to take an expensive cab from the airport to the hotel and back. In the end, i might as well have stayed in the Hilton or Sheraton at the airport, since I spent about the same amount of money. Would not recommend it for this purpose.
The car distance from Frankfurt airport to this hotel is around 11km, which need 28 euro to take a taxi. They don't offer free shuttle, so I needed to pay another 18 euro for go back airport. I asked the staff if I can pay this 18 euro by card and I got positive answer the day before I leave. However, the driver insisted on asking for 20 euro the next day. I have to say if you won't take a car, you have to consider all the expenses before booking this hotel. For the hotel itself, the room is clean.
First of all: This is NOT a resort hotel but the rooms are even large enough and well enough-equipped (hot water kettle, fridge) to stay here several nights and explore the area. This is my second time here and I didn't hesitate a second to book here. The rooms are spotlessly clean and QUIET (forest behind the hotel). Bus line 751 which originates at the Frankfurt Airport Arrivals level has a stop less than 10 minutes walk from here (Probably NOT for you if you have 5 suitcases ;-). That cuts the price of getting here from ~33 Euros to 3.15 Euros. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and helpful, even providing me with a great and quick breakfast when I erroneously arrived from Breakfast at 6 am (Weekend breakfast does not start until 7 am).
I stayed because it is cheap and closer to airport. Although staff is friendly and helpful this hotel needs renovation. For large families, they have large rooms for four people... Prices are reasonable.
Close proximity to Frankfurt am maim airport, this hotel is ultimate value for money and convenience. Friendly and helpful staff, transfers on request, spacious and modern rooms, free wifi, and yes, a elevator. Not seen too often in Germany for hotels in this price range. And very quiet rooms. Use it just for transit thought.
