We stayed recently to visit family in the area, and just needed a place to sleep so we thought this fit what we needed. On the plus side, hotel staff at check-in and check-out were very nice and professional. The room was ok, however, we were very disappointed that the cleaning/housekeeping group didn't notice that there was a "stain" above the toilet on the wall that could have been washed off most likely, there was a blood spot (looked fairly new) on the carpet just outside the bathroom where the bathroom door swings open, and there were either carpet tacks or a nail sticking up from the carpet just outside the bathroom threshold which both of us stepped on barefooted. We can't believe someone else hasn't mentioned that's hard to miss. (Room 124 or 125...can't recall which) Also, bath towels either need to be larger (I'm 5'1") or there needs to be more stocked in the bathroom.

The hotel is dated and needs a face lift. On the second night 0f our stay I left a chicken wing bone on the table between the two beds. In the morning the table was covered with ants. I went to the front desk to tell them about the problem. The two attendants laughed, said "O ya we have an ant problem" and walked away. To add to the problem our room was never made up that day. I went to the front desk again and told the next attendant. She said she was sorry someone should have sprayed. We saw ants for the rest of our stay Total lack of professionalism.

Was here for a business trip. Lobby was old fashioned and lots of contruction/utility workers hanging out everywhere. Room was okay. Had fridge and nice size tv. Beds were okay. Vanity area very small and bathtub area outdated, but clean. Okay for passing through one night on business nd i guess i was put there since it was very close to my job location.

My daughter attended the local university for the past few years and we stayed there the first two years. We returned for her graduation this year, it has been 2 years since our last stay. I recommended this hotel to family and I was so embarrassed that this hotel had fallen into such a state. There was a hole in the floor of the 2nd floor hallway, under the carpet that I almost twisted my ankle in. You can't see the hole so it was hard to avoid. This hotel needs a lot of repairs and fast.

I've stayed at this property several times in recent years and always found it to be exactly what I need; A clean room, decent bed, clean bathroom, decent towels, and friendly staff in an area that feels safe and has restaurants nearby. All at a reasonable price.

I thought overall it was good stay. No it's not luxious or anything but compared to some others that are average rate it is very decent and kept well. Most rooms have been redone it looks like to bring a fresh feeling. It could still use some work but overall it's nice stay for the price it is.

Right next door to where I was working. Plenty of handy eateries very close. Hotel was clean and quiet. A little extra protein (meat or eggs) would be good addition to breakfast.

Great staff. Nice pool and excersize room. Excellent breakfast. Room was exactly as advertised, spacious and clean. Convenient to highway, and nearby restaurants.

My family stays here when visiting our daughter at Huntington University. The first time we stayed, we were near the elevator and we listened to it ding all night. So this last time, we specifically asked to be away from the elevator. The front desk put us in 226 and 228. It was nice and quiet. I also liked that the rooms faced the wooded side of the property. The rooms were updated and clean. Bed was comfortable for me, but my husband wasn't as comfortable. Just depends on what you like. Front desk staff was helpful and friendly. I like staying there. It's very affordable and right across the street from the university. And if you feel like swimming, there's an indoor pool. The continental breakfast is standard.

Stayed here for my mother's funeral, bitten by a spider the first night and still trying to medicate the bite. Staff told me there is NO insect program at the motel other than they are given cans of insecticide to use. The manager was not concerned about my spider bite, only making sure I was charged full price. I am in contact with my Dr. and attorney at this time. I would defiantly not bring children to this facility!
