Stopped and spent the night 3 weeks ago on our way to Calgary.. we were very tired with in a couple of minutes we were all clued in and tucked in for the night. Clean room 2 double beds and a breakfast out of this world.. your next to the highway with easy access and lots of parking the big news it was only 115.00 for the night. I will be staying there again.
Enjoyed our one night getting away from Edmonton while not having to drive far. Just a spur of the moment kind of decision. The property is very well maintained, and quite new. Didn't experience the morning breakfast because it ended rather early for casual visitors like us, but Ft S is an industrial town and for business persons this will work just fine. The Montana's restaurant immediately across--if fact within the parking lot--is most convenient.
Breakfast should be served "weekend hours" during the holidays, 9:30am is way to early to be up over the holidays. Disappointing to say the least. We will be finding a hotel here in fort Saskatchewan that is more accommodating to the holiday visitors.
This hotel was clean, and service was friendly. Hot tub was broken when we showed up to have a night over with our kids and niece and nephew. The primary attraction which was the pool and water slide. We weren't bothered by the hot tub being out of service and the front desk was apologetic. I am not sure at the allure of people partying in hotels tho. We didn't bother to complain, but our neighbours had kids banging around quite late and stayed up drinking and laughing past midnight. The walls in these new hotels always seem thin. Oh well- thanks for the kind service and we will be back when visiting our family in the area.
This hotel is modern, clean and fairly priced. The front desk staff was very friendly and welcoming. The bed was really comfortable and the room was quiet. I had a good night sleep. The only negative thing I have to say is that staff shouldn't start vacuuming the breakfast room until it is actually over at 9:30am. I went down to have breakfast at 9:05am and the room was being vacuumed. - Not a nice sound first thing in the morning while eating breakfast. It made me feel rushed and uncomfortable. - Other than that, this is a very nice hotel and I would stay again.
We enjoyed our stay. The rooms and bed clean and comfy. The breakfast was fresh and lots to choose from. All the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful! Also the room prices per night was very reasonable. If we are back in Fort Saskatchewan we will definitely stay again. We went into the hot tub but didn't stay long as it was just a tad too hot to enjoy....my only thing was the pool towels were like the size of wash cloths...too small!!!!!
We stayed here for a week. We have never stayed at a cleaner hotel. The customer service was amazing! The only thing I would change is the breakfast menu. Eating the same thing for a week got boring. Thank you Comfort Inn for lots of great memories!
We stayed for three nights for a dance convention at the Dow Theatre. It was perfect because you can walk to the Theatre. The hotel is fairly new. Decor is nice and rooms have fridges and microwaves. They also have a bar sink. I would call it a mini kitchenette. We brought sandwiche food and snacks and didn't have to eat out much. We stayed in a room with two double beds. There was a comfy chair and ottoman for sitting in addition to the desk and chair. Breakfast was fresh, hot and fast. My only complaint is the coffee but there is a second cup within walking distance and also a Tim Horton's. There is a Montana's Restaurant across the parking lot. Overall, it was a great place to stay.
A pretty good, fairly new hotel. Good breakfast, friendly staff, great location. My kids loved the water slide and I enjoyed the hot tub. But there were lots of little annoying things. It seemed like there was dirt in corners and crannies. The stairs on the waterslide were quite dirty. The day we checked in there were heaps of towels in the hall for hours. A large group of unsupervised 10-12 year old boys descended on the workout room. I let the front desk know, and in the next 40 minutes the kids stayed in with no visit from the front desk staff. We would go again, but do be aware, it isn't perfect.
Beautiful hotel with spacious rooms. Great customer service. Full hot breakfast is included and there is a great pool with waterslide for the kids. Great alternative to staying in Edmonton. Will definitely stay here again.
