hotel was the worst hotel I ever stayed in I choose it because of the price, but it was located in a bad area. I had to take a cab because of how bad the area was. The hotel wasn't clean their was body feces let in the bed along with bed bug which was the first this I noticed once I pulled back the covers. also they charged me twice for the hotel and addressed my concerns with the manger and he tried to deny the whole thing even after I showed him my bank statement and still told me he wouldn't refund talk to my bank which they couldn't do nothing about, now out of $158. worst hotel experience of my life best advice invest a little bit more money for a better hotel and don't take it because its cheap

Headed to NYC for a photoshoot. Scary area, not worth it being a cheap hotel. Spend a little more and don't risk this downtown.

The Scottish Inn looked okay from outside but inside everything was very dissatisfying. We had to wait 10 min or more to check in because there wasn't anyone, even when we rang the bell in the front. When they finally emerged, one didn't know what she was doing and the other was rude because he was interrupted from whatever he was doing. Even though we were supposedly given a non-smoking room, the room reeked of smoke and stale smell. I couldn't wait to check out of my room and I would never go back there.

The Scottish Inn was an okay place. The room size was adequate. We did not get our room cleaned while we stayed. We ran out of toilet paper and had to ask for fresh towels. The night guy was not friendly or helpful told us we had to get the towels in the morning. The price was in our budget which is why we chose this hotel. I would recommend this for the price but not the service.
