Le Méridien Dania Beach At Fort Lauderdale Airport

3.5 out of 5.0

we arrived and we were able to relax because the room was perfect. We were close to the beach and had a great time.

The hotel looked tired and needs remodeling. Everything gives of a seen better times look. However it was a good price, and location for a quick layover stop. Shuttle to airport was prompt and free.

I was a bit disapointed. It does not fit with the category of 4-stars Hotel--the bathtab is so old-and the furnitures are also out of date and conditions. The breakfast-buffet is quite poor with quality and quantaty, but costs a lot-since the customer has no other choise arround the hotel.

Excellent selection for a pre-cruise night hotel. Close to the airport with shutter service to and from the airport. Also it has a shutter service to the cruise terminal. It is a nice hotel with very good facilities. Good bar and restaurant and excellent bedrooms. For us it is a 5 star hotel.

Very close to airport, hotel room very nice and comfortable. the food was great

No frills hotel close to cruise port. Good for a one night stay.

An awesome stay for Miami Carnival....everything was clean and orderly

The room was okay and nothing spectacular. We ate in the bar area after 10pm and the food preparation was a little slow. If you are looking for a place to stay for the night and not to costly, this will do.

The hotel is what you'd expect. It has a pool and whirlpool and is located close to the airport and in walking distance of Tri-Rail. The rooms are nice and the staff is friendly. It was a good price on the room and the value was there. They don't have free Wi-Fi, breakfast isn't included, and there's no fridge in your room. None of that is unusual for a hotel like this and hotels that do have that rarely have a pool or whirlpool.

The carpet in our room was awful, the room phone was dead, the lamp was missing a lightbulb, and we found ants on the nightstand. After complaining, we were moved to another room at midnight where the sheets had a big stain on them. Had to wait for housing staff to change the sheets. Overall not a great experience and not what I'd expect from a Sheraton. The front desk staff however was friendly and helpful. FYI- Parking was $15 per night, wireless came at a cost, and breakfast was 17 per person.

The rooms are old and no amenities. No breakfast included, Parking 15$ daily, internet $10. There are near hotels cheaper, with everything above included. One more thing,,,, Saturdays they organize events and the parking and confort are compromised.

My husband and I had an enjoyable experience both of my sisters stayed as well and we al enjoyed our weekend.

Experience was very good. No complaints. Worth staying at if you need a hotel near FLL.

The hotel is reasonably near the airport and has a shuttle. The staff here are friendly, competent and helpful. The room was comfortable, but really needs more outlets. The ice machine was broken. The food is mediocre and overpriced, but that's par for the course. A good place for a quick overnight stay, but not for more than that.

Good hotel, near to outlet,It is a beautiful suite.

The hotel was very nice. The staff were excellent. We had at the bar which made our last day in Florida great. The room looked clean and comfy but I noticed hairs all over the bathroom like someone forgot to sweep. Overall a great stay.

The hotel bar and front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The lobby was well kept and had a good presentation. On arrival, they could not find our reservation, so I went over to one of their computers and printed off the email confirmation. It took them a while but they did get us a room figured out. No problem, things happen. The first room we were put in smelled like an old smoking room from back when. Also, the air conditioner unit was leaking water out onto the carpet and there was a moisture stain. So we went back down to the lobby, to explain the room was a mess, and got a second room. This room, did not smell, but was not very clean. There was a good layer of dust on the lamp, the ceiling in the bathroom was bubbling and flaking off, the shower fixtures had rust on them, and the grout in the shower and on the floor near the tub was pretty discolored. The place looked way past it prime and not much care from the cleaning staff went into these rooms. We paid almost $150 and just stayed for one night before a cruise, but it was not worth that kind of money. If we were staying for any length of time, I would have requested a 3rd room, but since it was just for the night, we made due.

It was a great experience to stay in this hotel. Very comfortable, nice staff, good food. The nightly rates were a bit high for me, otherwise I have no complaints.

Hotel was great, big rooms, great free shuttle service to FLL and to nearby Oakwood Plaza, great quality food at the hotel resturant and bar although choice is limited, Excellent staff and customer service, also complimentary wifi.

I stayed with my son for four nights. We had a nice stay there. Staff was very friendly and helping. Room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I missed in the room was fridge. They should provide a small fridge and microwave oven. when we reached at room the bath tub was not draining the water. I complained about it and it was fixed in no time. The service was prompt. I would stay again.
