It's a little bit far from the historic center. If you wanna go by walking, it's 50 minutes walking. If you take the bus, less than 15 minutes. It's easy to take the bus (and cheap) and the bus stop is near. The room is big and comfortable, but the doors of the rooms are really noisy! The girls in reception are polite and helpful, but some of them just speak italian. Free parking. There are few but good restaurants around. Awesome "Gelateria" 1km far from the hotel (Gelateria Il Sorriso).
When we pulled up to this hotel we didn't know what to expect from the outside. When we went in the reception area and our bedroom was clean and tidy. The only downfall the room has was it was at the front of the hotel and the traffic was noisy. I would stay again but I would ask for a room to the back of the hotel. The first night we ate in the hotel and the food was nice. I have intolerance and the staff were helpful and made something I could eat. Each morning the breakfast was more than adequate and always being topped up with fresh food. The staff were always friendly and helpful. Myself and my husband went to use the gym but it looked to be having renovations. I would recommend this hotel
The best hotel i have been to in this mini Italy Holidays, the room was perfect, Round Bed, the shower was like a Spa, water falling from the top, the breakfast was good and the Bar had good cocktails. i would book again.
Extremely helpful and welcoming. Beautiful old hotel. No air conditioning took a little getting used to. Wonderful breakfast. WiFi could be a little spotty. Helpful with suggestions and provided umbrellas on rainy days.
it is a nice choice to stay this hotel. costumer service is great, and it is easy to where I go. the hotel is quite and pleasant to stay, especially they offer a quality breakfast that makes you feel have a fresh start of the day.
We stayed one night in the middle of a tour. The hotel is located away from the tourist spots. Except in the restaurant, there are clear evidences of lack of maintenance. The cleaning could be improved. Little personal was evidenced. The dinner and breakfast service was adequate.
Really good choice if you want to stay in Florence. Clean room, quiet location, friendly staff and really good breakfast. Bus stop only few meters away from the hotel. Private parking for free next to the hotel.
I would recommend it as a hotel with satisfactory facilities and services for the price. I would like to use it again if I go to Florence again. If you have any problems, it is a bit far from the tourist destination.
If you are a non smoker like me you know how bad is to smell it. The exhausting system in the bathroom is shared with other rooms so if one of your neighboring rooms is being used by a smoker you will have a lot of smoking smell in your bathroom. I couldn't use my bathroom sometimes due to the strong smell of cigarette. I don't care if you are a smoker but I don't want smoke on me.
good thinks:the staff was very polite and kind, the breakfast was rich and had a variety of foods, swimming pool was clean and beautifull......bad things: rooms was a bit old and a lot of stuffs need to change, the holl building need a refreshment because it looks like 2 or 3 stars and not a 4 star hotel.Gym was closed i dont know the reason.
