We chose to stay at Italiana Hotel Florence because we did not want to stay near the pedestrian zone since we had rented a car. Parking was easy with a bus stop right next to the hotel. A 15 - 20 minute ride takes you to the heart of Florence which is easier than trying to find parking. You can purchase tickets easily through the app or on board the bus. Our beds were comfortable and the bathroom spacious. The wifi was a bit slow, but after exploring the city we were too tired to use it anyway. This was an easy choice and I would definitely recommend .
Arrived at midnight to check in, and staff were incompetent, and rude. It took us an hour to check in, and when we got to our room, there were already guests in it.. for the price it it a very old run down building and not worth it
Excellent service & the breakfast was great .
Great experience with our stay.
The problem with this hotel was how far it was from the center of Firenze and that the initial receptionist we dealt with was incompetent. Otherwise the staff was excellent and helpful, especially the wait staff in the dining room and Erica at the front desk.
Excellent accommodating staff, convenient parking, great breakfast and next door to a great pizza place!
I was expecting more from a 3.5 star hotel. The building and the rooms are so run down, needs major renovation. Also, the cleanliness of the place is questionable, especially for the price they are charging per stay. On a positive note, the staff did try to make our time there a little bit better by moving us to a cleaner room.
Great experience, a little far from major sites, but hotel was nice, pool was great and the bus stop (line 23a) is right across from the hotel.
location was far from central florence, however, I liked the pool.
