We stayed at this hotel for 5 days in the end of October, 2017. Decent hotel though not situated around city centre of Florence but the connectivity to City centre by bus was good. It took 20 minutes to reach city centre in 1.20 euro per person per side. Variety in breakfast. Since we are vegetarians, the options were quite less but still better than other hotels. Several kind of breads, corn flakes, different jams etc. In terms of services, it was average. The hotel has centralised AC so no cool air in winter (if you are feeling hot) as happened with us. We asked the reception about the same but could not find any solution from their end. Staff was good. Recommendation - if you are vegetarian, keep your hot cattle (if required to you) bcz this hotel does not have microwave.
Just returned from 3 nights in Florence with my boyfriend. We flew into Pisa airport on Friday morning with EasyJet who do not fly to florence airport, bare this in mind as Pisa airport is 2 hours away from florence. The hotel doesn’t look great on the outside but inside is lovely. Spacious rooms, very clean and quite modern. The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful. The hotel has a nice restaurant the breakfast was great and plenty off it, always topped up even to the last minute. We didn’t have dinner in the restaurant although it looked nice, but had a few drinks in there which were better prices than the Centre of Florence. The hotel is dog friendly as well which didn’t effect us but we have family who struggle to go on holiday because of their dog so this is a great asset to the hotel. The only thing that let our stay down was the locations. It is a 15 minute bus ride on the 23 to the centre of Florence which is perfectly fine. However, the surrounding area to the hotel there were only two restaurants we ate at one but was lucky to get in as they get so busy. So we had to Travel back into florence two of the nights to get some dinner. There are no bars to have a drink which is a shame and because of this I wouldn’t come back again because when I’m on a city break I expect bars and restaurants all around, especially in Italy! But this is no fault of the hotel.
My husband and I stayed here last week and our experience was very unpleasant. This hotel is definitely not a four stay. A two will be ok. The hotel is quite old and lack very basic facilities a decent hotel should have. WiFi is very poor, in fact we had no WiFi at all in our room and at the main and only restaurant in the hotel. Gina and Margareta (front desk officers ) were very helpful in trying to resolve the WiFi issues in our rooms. But for them, we would have checked out to a different hotel. Lightening in the rooms are also poor. Some are so dark you can barely see your face in the mirror. Location is however good and the staff are friendly and helpful. The hotel needs an unfrustractural upgrade and it will be fine. I will not want to come back until then.
My wife and I stayed at the hotel in October 2017. We were initially a little disappointed that the swimming pool was closed for the winter (~ mid-September), but this was our only real gripe. The hotel is an hours walk from the city centre, but the 23A bus which stops outside the hotel costs ~1euro per trip (buy tickets from a tobacconist) and is very regular (every 7 minutes) so no real complaint there. Our room was clean, modern, and includes all the necessary facilities - although a kettle would not go amiss. The staff were friendly, courteous and outgoing. The breakfast was plentiful - a mixture of continental and hot food - and in a very beautiful setting. On the whole, the hotel complemented our holiday nicely, and was highly affordable being slightly outside of the city centre. The local facilities are slight, and you'll have to go into the city centre for a decent meal, but this was not a real issue for us. Highly recommended as an affordable option.
Picked this hotel for the pool only to be told its closed for the winter 26 degrees outside, the traffic noise is unbearable at night must be near a hospital constant ambulances screaming past. Don't waste your money.
One of the most satisfying, cost-effective hotels in Italy. If it is self driving, it is strongly recommended. Public transport has only 23 routes to reach, and route 23 is a circular route. Be sure to make clear when you're on the bus. The only noise is not so easy to open the door of the room, brush several to two days before (ten) only last night, unable to directly open the brush, looking for employees who are probably going to brush into the reset every day.
價格適中, 服務親切, 早餐豐盛有水準, 公車站很近, 方便去市中心, 兩站即到購物中心, 服務人員年輕又認真專業, 無論是餐廳, 房間服務或是泳池清潔, 都很值得肯定。Very lucky choice, walking on the steet vey comfortable, no crowd or traffic jam, no need too close to those historic sites, 酒店對面有一家 日式中華料理餐廳, "豐" 午餐 buffet 才10歐元, 很不錯～
Great hotel, public bus stops at the hotel's front door. Very convenient if you have a car so you can park it, leave the car at the hotel and use the public bus. The room is clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good, and the staff very friendly and always ready to help.
This hotel was amazing, close to the bus stop (take 23A from Santa Maria Novella and form Florence center). The staff was wonderful, the breakfast was impressive, the space was amazing. Two elevators that were very efficient, the pool and dining areas were beautiful. We would literally come back to this hotel and just stay on property for vacation it was so lovely! Will definitely be coming back! Got way more than we expected for what we paid! Thank you all!
Perfect hotel to visit Florence. Key points: 10 min from the center by Bus; the Bus stop is in front of the hotel; the hotel staff is helpful and nice; hotel facilities are good as well as the breakfast!
