Beautiful rooms. We had one standard which is small but with a canopy bed and built in separate closet alcove and a view or the Arno river. Our second room was quite large and airy with frescos in the walls. Both had elegant window treatments and were very fresh. Windows open but not all the way. You can walk along the river and to all you would like to do and see. Common area are also very well decorated. It is directly across a small piazza from the Westin. The Westin has a not to be missed restaurant on the roof with a view of the city. We originally had a reservation for a restaurant for one night off property but elected to try the "winter garden " because it was so beautiful. If you are looking for an over the top memorable dinner this is the place. We had a curtained off table for four with an upholstered sofa facing the main room. Fresh flowers on all table and at least 3 people serving us in rotation. Food was phenomenal and we can't believe it does not have 3 Michelin stars. Our son who is not a foodie also pronounced it his n st steak ever

Not your typical European luxury room. You get the space you pay for here and it's a great hotel right by the river. The breakfast is served in a beautiful balcony area over looking the bar and lounge area. Highly recommend this place for drinks after dinner and a stay.

Booked a premium deluxe room and had to wait for our room due to someone's late checkout but they were gracious to deduct for the river view. Absolutely gorgeous room and bathroom. Loved the butler service! Gave good recommendations for dining. Overall, very attentive staff!. This is one of my favorite Starwood properties. Loved Florence and this hotel!!

I'm a huge fan of Dante Alighieri (and the mystery of his relationship with a woman named Beatrice) and the great painter, Sandro Botticelli, whose many life works reside in Galleria degli Uffizi in Firenze. I’ve been wanting to go see the paintings myself (such as La Primavera, which is my personal favorite and the Portrait of Dante Alighieri) since so long ago, but never had the time to go. So, after we decided to go on a 16-week trip in celebration of my pregnancy, I called dibs on Florence. St. Regis and the Starwood brand has always been our preference so we chose the St. Regis Florence that looked amazing and is not that long of a walk to the Uffizi. We had a great stay. The food was great, the rooms was amazing. Overall, such a remarkable experience all thanks to the amazing staffs! We will come back soon!

We stayed here for 1 night only - what a shame as we wanted to stay longer. Immediately on arrival -very warmly welcomed and we had booked a deluxe twin room - we were taken to our room which was named after a famous artist - ours was "Giotto" 203- - room fabulous and spacious -on arrival the room had a double bed instead of the twin and they immediately resolved the matter. The bathroom was huge and really modern with shower and bath. We were also told there was a champagne hour free for guests from 7-8pm. We went along to be served delicacies as well as a large glass of champagne- a really nice touch. We also were able to shop and have our purchases sent to the hotel and all sitting there in our room on our return. Brilliant location in piazza ognissante. Great to walk from hotel to all central areas. Without a doubt will definite come back here for a longer visit - a real Wow in the centre of Florence

This is my second visit to the St. Regis Florence. Hotel is exquisite and service is top notch. Bar is lovely. Everyone we encountered at the hotel was professional and helpful. Rooms are well appointed and each is decorated differently.

We stayed for two nights at The St. Regis Florence & it was everything I thought it would be. We stayed in a premium deluxe river view room with a king bed. The room was outstanding & so regal. Breakfast was amazing it was included in our room choice. If you want a romantic hotel room to remember stay here! 👸🏻

This hotel is location close to the Arno river and walking distance from all the tourist spots. The staff here is very friendly and helpful. Their breakfast is very good with lot of variety and freshly cooked omelette and French toast.

The St Regis lives up to its reputation in Firenze, they have a great location, easy access, set up on the river (however it does increase mosquitoes so have bug spray), a magnificent lobby, and a three story ceiling in the lounge / dinner restaurant. We stopped in the lounge each night after dinner, live piano music and drinks. The waiters are proud and professional. The breakfast is served on the first floor,a balcony looking down into the lounge. It is a traditional american breakfast buffet, with Italian side dishes. The rooms are nicely done, do not feel small, third and fourth floor have balconies. The showers are nice, hot, and the beds are soft. Turn down service and cleanliness are perfecto. Highly recommend.

Just stayed here. Got woken up at midnight from club music pulsating through our room facing the river (pictures of the "party" attached). Hotel staff kept saying it would be over soon and they had called the police. It was 100 plus kids on the river with club music and it was never broken up until they left around 7am!!! The hotel staff said they couldn't control but was clear it has happened before. I booked a new room at 5am online at another hotel and checked out. They are fighting with me on the second night charges which is absurd and saying they can't control. I can control others going through this. The worst experience ever with a St Regis or 5 star hotel. Honestly, it's amazing the city couldn't control this also. I understand stuff happens but unacceptable on the service response. They can't control the concert happening in the future, so I wanted people to be warned so others don't have to go through this. I never post anything. DO NOT STAY HERE.
