Great location! Easy walk from the train station and to all the highlights of Florence. Clean and comfortable with a great breakfast!

It's such a nice stay, very close to d train station and all d shops and restaurants. Just a little noisy during day time because it's near the garden and church, lots of people walked by. Facilitiy is clean and tidy. Staffs are very nice and helpful! Will recommend for such price!

Disappointed. Staff "no speak English." Air conditioner mounted on the wall right up against the ceiling. Switch to turn it on didn't work. I had to stand on a chair to switch it on, manually after I had called the front desk for help (I was hung up on) I went down and to lobby and there was no one there. I had to yell for the guy to come out. He would not lift a finger to help me. Room was very spartan. Nothing like advertised. On a positive note, the location was good.

very clean hotel centrally located. Staff very helpful. Now to the bad...extremely small rooms!!!!! No room to move...little to no room for storage of clothes. Very old hotel, clean but way too small. two people can not pass each other on the room. The y do offer free breakfast which is nice. pillows hard as a rock. No safe for valuables. Unless you enjoy sleeping in your bathroom...DONT STAY HERE!!!!!

Room was dark, needs more lighting. No safe nor safety box at desk. Bathroom shower had mold. We booked two rooms, the first room was very small and had smell of mildew. The staff was accommodating and got us a better room the next day.Breakfast was simple; and had to pay for wifi. The location was great, close to city center and train station. TV was good had 3 English stations. The gentleman at the desk was very nice and spoke good English.

Great location for siteseeing in Florence. Train station is right around the corner, The Duomo and Baptistry, The Academie, and Uffizi all within walking distance. Room was nice-- the only drawbacks were refrigerators in Europe don't run so cold as the US and no microwave or access to kitchen after the breakfast hours. For a first time visit, great experience.

Very nice hotel in a great location near train station and within easy walking distance to all the sites.

The hotel is a very short walk from the train station, right on Piazza Santa Maria Novella but the plaza can have drunks pretty late at night (especially on New Year's Eve) and there's an ambulance lot there so an ambulance would take off at all hours. Duomo and other sites were closer than we thought. Our room facing the plaza was great but for the noise and its proximity to the breakfast room, making it loud inside and out.

Hip little designer hotel in the heart of Florence. Short walk to train station and very close to Duomo Cathedral. Rooms are very clean and bright. Bathroom maybe on the small side. Free internet on 3 iMacs in little conference room. Inexpensive gelatto across plaza and cool Gyro restaurant 2 doors down.

Being in the interior design industry, I appreciated the cool design of the hotel with how affordable the hotel was. The rooms are on the smaller size, but it didn't bother me as most of the day I was sightseeing.

GREAT LOCATION - short walk from train station. Overlooking grounds in front of Santa Maria Novella. Quaint hotel...you feel like you are in the real Florence. Dining within walking distance. Hotel has internet room. Also, it has breakfast included. Ride the red "on-off" tourist bus to see sites. Pick up right across from train station.

The hotel was great. It was clean, and the air conditioning was very refreshing in a city where they don't have it in too many places. The breakfast was amazing, and they spoke many languages which is great for people who don't know much Italian. Only bad thing was the staff wasn't that friendly, but no a big deal compared to all the good things there.
