We stayed with kids and was great place for all of us! It’s not in the heart of Florence but it’s perfect to relax after the long day for walking. Rooms are big and comfortable. Bathroom is very good size too and the towels are perfect - big and very good quality. In our room the shower was not very comfortable but in the girls room was great with bathtub! The bed is very comfortable too. Staff is very welcome! Recommend it high!
The infrastructure, the decorations and the view from Arno river are really very attractive. All clue members are very sympathetic and available to all needs. Need to improve breakfast: very few changes along the days...
Loveley place Best teem Very clean Very beutifull The view was prefect The even help us to find great galidarie Every thing we ask the get us immeditaly Help us with our plan the next day Even when to park The opper upgrat for the room if we want I fellt like home
Staff were friendly, approachable and professoinal. Our room was lovely- on the first floor overlooking the river with dual aspect windows. The bathroom included a jacuzzi bath which was fantastic after a long days sightseeing. The room also includes a fridge stocked with free bottled water which was a nice touch. The breakfast offered a good selection of foods I definitely recommend the scrambled eggs they were delicious! The free hour of spa use was handy and I particularly like that you reserve it and have it to yourselves so don’t have to share with other guests. The free shuttle was offered although being out of season there were only 2 buses a day and they were at times which didn’t suit our plans so we ended up mainly using taxis. The room facilities were fine but the internet service wasn’t particularly good, although not a deal breaker for me luckily. Bed was very comfortable had an excellent weeks sleep. I would definitely recommend this hotel to stay for a week, everywhere very clean and all staff very friendly.
Nice environment, perfect stay. Exceeded expectation. Excellent service, perfect restaurant, room with good view. SPA is fantastic. Far from the center but if you are looking for calm and beautiful landscape with traditional Tuscany feeling, that's the place.
I can’t say enough about how great this hotel is. We loved it so much that we extended our stay. Breakfast is good and WiFi adequate. Aldo, if you are lucky enough to get him, is a credit to the hotel and an amazing concierge. Everything that he recommended was fantastic. He gave us a good guide to have a special experience in Tuscany that was off the beaten path. The beds are comfortable, rooms cosy but adequate, and the bathrooms spacious. The amenities are also very good with the spa that you have private access to. It is about 15 min outside of the main part of Florence on the river Arno. Aldo was nice enough to upgrade us to a river view room with a private garden for our dogs. There are so many personal touches and little things that they do here that make it a wonderful hotel and experience.
Looking for Tuscanian vibes? This hotel is exactly what you will get. Excellent service by the concierge mr. Ashwni. We got very good recommendation for restaurants that really made our day! The other lady who served at the concierge recommended us itinerary that were perfect for our trips. The room is spacy and had those homey kind of feeling. We came as two adults and two kids and we do have a good sleep in our room. The breakfast is average but good enough. The garage is conveniently located and free of charge! We would definitely come back and recommend this place.
I have many things to say about this place, but I want to start with Monica. We were here in August of 2017 for our 10th Anniversary. The first person we met after checking was Monica, who works in the bar/cafe downstairs and sometimes the dining room. She is the heart of this place. She is friendly, expert at making drinks and very service oriented. She brings some much energy to what she does, you can't help but smile and me happy. In addition, the location of this hotel is perfect. Just far enough out of town to have a beautiful view of a river and the Tuscan countryside, but near enough to access downtown Florence in about 10-15 minutes. It is a older building so don't expect a posh room, but it was very comfortable and the bathroom was very large. The grounds are very well kept and we enjoyed walking around and sitting to watch a sunset or two. They have an excellent restaurant with outdoor seating so we at many meals at the hotel which is unusual for us. The pool is large and they have food and drink service that you can call down for. My wife and I HIGHLY recommend this hotel for its food, beauty, comfort and service! Oh, and say, "hi" to Monica for us! :)
We enjoyed a lovely 4-night stay at this property in August. As we were celebrating our anniversary, the hotel graciously upgraded us to a lovely ground floor room with a garden and a view over the Arno. Unfortunately, this garden was directly beside the dining room and there was a distinct lack of privacy, so we asked to be moved. Again, an amazing second floor room was provided, still with a view over the Arno and the old mill. The staff were excellent throughout our stay - striking the right balance between helpful and reserved. The food was of good quality - dinner was distinctly better than breakfast - and the shuttle was an excellent option for getting to the city and back (less than 15 minutes one-way). Prior to the trip, I worried about being far away from town (while simultaneously craving a view of the Tuscan countryside and the Arno) - after witnessing the sheer intensity of Florence and the crowds there, it was refreshing to come back to this oasis and relax. Being here also made it easy to drive to other parts of Tuscany and we were able to get out to Montepulciano and Pienza at our convenience.
We stayed 5 nights in the hotel Mulino di Firenze and enjoyed it a lot. Lovely and quiet place along the Arno river but in the same time very close to Firenze. No need to take the car and find parking in the city, the hotel offers a very good shuttle service every hour, free of charge. Hotel itself is wonderful, very nice and well equipped rooms, very good restaurant. Staff is very professional and kind to customers. We could not enjoy the swimming pool (a bit too cold end of October) but in spring or summer it must be fantastic. Only improvements I would see is the spa which is very small and a the room to relax a bit cold, and the menu of the restaurant which could be offer more choices (dining there 1 or 2 times is fine, after that the choices are a bit limited). But these are minor things. Would not hesitate to stay there again!
