Let me start with the positive. The staff is beyond amazing. They are so accommodating and friendly. The views are spectacular, the decor, the smell of flowers as you walk through the hallways leaves you breathless. The food is atrocious unfortunately. The spaghetti was the only item tasty. The pricing for the quality is O!! There are over 100 phenomenal places to dine in the city of Florence. You will love everything!!! On our last night, we were woken up itching uncontrollably as mosquitoes flooded our bedroom. Yes, we are on the river and understand, however when we approached the front desk at 3 am, we were provided 2 plug in repellents. When I mentioned it to the manager in the morning, we were told we should have received at check out. We never knew nor received. Your choice to stay.
Amazing river views. Quiet environment. Restful and rejuvenating stay.
This is a great place to stay right on the river. It is a unique old mill transformed into a beautiful hotel. The staff was excellent and very accommodating.
Loved my room and everything about the hotel. Only stayed for one night and did not have a chance to try the restaurant. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer.
This is a great place to stay if you want to see Florence, but want the feel of staying in the country side of Tuscany, would definitely stay again.
We really enjoy our stay it is a really nice place
Posed a short shuttle ride north of Florence on the Arno River, this hotel proved to be everything we were looking for. The room was small but had a great bathroom, comfortable bed and a small rose garden outside our window. There was a seating area in the hotel that provided a comfortable place to relax and view the river while taking in the history of this15th century gristmill. The staff was friendly and informative. The view from the patio and dining room were exceptional. The breakfast was a wonderful way to begin each day. The restaurant was top notch in every way serving Tuscan food and a lengthy wine list to accompany the wonderful food. Emilio in the bar greeted engaged us with stories and wonderful drinks. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to be out of hustle and bustle of Florence.
Staff was wonderful, had a nice restaurant on site. Did have a free shuttle to the city but times were very odd (but there are plenty of things to see). Overall a plesant experience.
