I loved this hotel. Our room had wood beams, brick vaulted ceiling and was actually large compared to many European hotel rooms. Breakfast was enough to satisfy. I’d love to stay here again. Check in was simple as was check out. They were always willing to be helpful with directions. I didn’t care for the fact that the tax had to be paid in cash but that is a minor thing. The wifi worked great and there is a safe in the room

Friendly and welcoming. What more can you want when traveling. Very clean, of course. Firenze central location for everything. The cost of our room was modest compared to anything we could find given we wanted such a central location.

This was our first trip to Florence. We stayed at the Hotel Collodi. It’s a quaint boutique hotel. The staff were very helpful. The room was a 3Bed with the Two floor configuration. It is located in the center of Everything! Easy to walk to the Academia, Santa Croce and Duomo.... Restaurants and shops etc. Price was fair and reasonable. I’d recommend that you don’t stay here in the summer as the A/C May not Work! The breakfast was Traditional Italian and perfect for starting the day! -NW

Recently 4 ladies stayed at the Hotel Collodi. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. I stayed in Room 403 with a beautiful mural ceiling. The rooms are adequate. The bathroom is very nice and modern. The breakfast room can get a bit crowded as it is small. Breakfast in limited but sufficient. The location is the best! It is within a 2 minute walk to the Market Centrale. Be sure to walk upstairs to see the multitude of small restaurant. Fabulous! You are about a 5 minute walk to the Duomo. Lots of excellent restaurants are within minutes of this hotel. I would stay here again on my next visit to Florence. I love Florence!!

My Daughter and two grandchildren stayed here for two nights earlier this month. The room was very clean, with a double and single bed on one level, and a second single bed upstairs open with a railing overlooking the first floor. Breakfast was included and consisted of cereals, juice, cold meat, boiled eggs, yogurt and fruit, tea and coffee. The management was very helpful and allowed us to store our luggage after check out. It was in a convenient location and a short walk from everything. Would recommend staying here.

We came from Rome to Florence by train and it's a short walk from the Florence SMN station. The property is located in the heart of Florence and all the attractions were an easy walk from the hotel. There is also a market and good amount of eateries just outside the hotel. The check in process was smooth and though we came in early at 11 AM, we managed to check in to the room. We booked a triple occupancy room. The room was pretty big with an attic for the third bed. Our room faced the road. The breakfast was in an exclusive dining are and the spread was also good. The only negative point was that you couldn't open the window in the morning for some fresh air because the movement of vehicles in the morning made it very noisy. Overall a very nice stay....and recommended!

We have stayed in this hotel in September. Stuffs are nice. Breakfast is good (if you provide plein yogurt will be great too. location of the hotel is wonderful not far from city center and train station. You can find very good restaurant around the hotel and convenient store too.

We spent 4 nights at the Hotel Collodi recently and really enjoyed ourselves. The main plus is the location, just around the corner from the market and a short walk to all the main sites of the central area while still being tucked in a quiet side street. The room was clean and very comfortable, good wifi, and a basic breakfast each morning. Its in the old historic district so stairs instead of elevator. Lots of good places to eat close by. Staff were very helpful. I definitely will go back.

Spent 4 nights in September 17 and thoroughly enjoyed it. Rooms where large and clean and we had the added bonus of a balcony. Train station was only 10 minutes away and most major attractions within 10 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well as other specialty stores. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely recommend staying here for your visit to Florence.

Stayed here for a couple of nights as a family at the end of our Italian holiday. Great hotel with very helpful staff and good breakfast spread. Location was ideal being less than 10 minutes from the train station and handy for all the main Florence attractions. Lovely family room with real character (in a good way!). Would stay here again as offers good value for Florence
