Not at all like description. Toilet did not work properly, water leaking from ceiling, bath fan not working, heater not working, room smelled from food being cooked as part of a hostel in connection with hotel. People smoking and vaping in entry. Manager aloof.

It is not a hotel it is hostel. One star place as indicated on the sign in the hotel. There is no reception just a person in a bar on the main floor. Noisy all evening and night until 3am. Our room was not cleaned for five days. Please do not trust this place for three stars standards.

Great little hotel

Was right in the heart of Florence but also very quiet. Easy access from train stations and to all sight seeing. CHeck in and out was easy and a breakfast included was a plus. Lots of choices for breakfast. Air conditioning struggled a bit, but really can’t complain. Could open windows and let the breeze cool it down at night ( just had to tolerate the mosquitos). We loved the balcony off the room. A big plus. Bed was a little firm for my preference. I also was surprised when I got the bill- thought I was paying closer to 120/ night. 3 nights cost me 514(this included the tourist tax). I easily could have misunderstood when I booked. I would recommend this hotel and would book here again if a return trip to Florence.

You get your money's worth. Florence is an expensive city as far as hotels are concerned. This hotel does what it's meant to. One or two nights at a reasonable cost with reasonable accommodations. 5 min walk to S.M.N station and 10 min walk to the Duomo. Grocery store down the street to buy what you may need decent Italian breakfast. Again, all what you'd expect for the price you're paying. WiFi was a little problematic, however didn't cause me major inconvenience. Rooms were plain and had some hints of age. Good for a quick stopover and see the sights. Wouldn't recommend for romantic holiday or first time trip to Florence. However definitely would for a quick stop through.

Cozy room and nice location

The hotel is a 5-min walk from train station and there are many restaurants nearby that close late at night. Breakfast was included but dont expect wide range of choices on food, just a few of traditional italian cake/ bread, hard-boiled eggs, cold-cut, cereals and yogurt, coffee and juice. Rooms are clean but not very spacious. Overall, we had a pleasant stay at Azzi hotel and would recommend it if you are on a budget but looking for a decent room with private bathroom.

Centrally located near the station. Everything was great, room and bathroom was clean and decently spacious, old charm setting. Only downside was there is no elevator/lift and it was tough to carry out bags 2 flights up to another hotel which is part of Hotel Azzi. But I’d still stay here again. It is a 8 min walk to the station and 10 min walk to Duomo area.

Quaint hotel in great location

This is a great little boutique hotel in a perfect location in Florence, walking distance to the main train station and sightseeing areas. The staff was friendly and helpful not only with the hotel but with sightseeing recommendations. The breakfast was a nice selection of fruit, breads, meat, and cheeses. I will stay here again when I visit Florence.

A return trip to Hotel Azzi

We stayed at the Hotel Azzi five years before, and liked it so much we came back. It is an easy walking distance to the Duomo, and there is loads to do and see nearby. There is also a laundrette on the next street that allows you to wash and dry your clothes - the owner/ manager is a bit of a character :). The staff at the hotel are all pleasant and helpful, and the hotel is very clean. I always enjoyed my breakfast as there was plenty of choice, the food was good and they didn't rush you. I feel that the chambermaids should have a special mention as they kept our room scrupulously clean and tidy, and were very busy, yet took the time to say good morning. We would always try to book with this hotel first when we come back to Florence.
