We stayed for two weeks in this location. The studio was very well equiped and clean. The owner, Mr. Pizzeti is trying to do its best: he recommended us the best shops around the location and every day was present in the location. The Gemini are not a hotel ( the prices are lowers at Gemini) and this is an opportunity to stay more time in Firenze. If you want to visit Firenze in one or two days, it is better to stay home, because you must stay minimum one week to visit the must see places in Firenze and the zone around:Fiesole (2,4 euro/ person by bus 7), Prato (5,2 euros/ person by train), Pisa (16.80 euros/person by train), Siena ( 18.20 euros/person), Lucca and San Giminiano. The train station is at 10 minutes walking. In the Train Station there is a supermarket opened 7/7. One problem is in the departure day, if you have a flight in the evening, you must deposit the luggage at the Train station (6 euros each troller for 5 hours). So we consider Gemini studios as an opportunity for those who want to explore seriously Firenze. We' ll return with pleasure to Gemini Studios.

Don't be deceived by poorly looking front! + Well-kept apartments; you are renting a nice and fully furnished, equipped and functional modern flat at a price of a hotel room + Amazing price to quality ratio + It's 200 meters away from railway station + It's 250 meters away from tourist attractions + Very clean + Spacious and clean bathroom + Despite its location, very quiet + You can accomodate two people more than official description, since all apartments come with a couch which can be turned into a comfortable bed for two + Comes with good wi-fi coverage - VERY unfriendly reception clerk; imagine stereotypical old, tired English phlegmatic that hates his job and you won't be afar; he's also present only in short timeframe each evening - Lack of parking forces you to either pay for city parking (expensive and the machine is cranky) or park outside city centre for the duration of the day and get back via bus or tram - Strict and arbitrary terms of use, with massive potential for high extra costs, so remember to be always on time and keep the place extra clean upon leaving - The road to drive there requires to take two minor circles around the hotel due to one-lane roads in a heavy traffic, so it can be annoying

Well equipped self catering studio. Warm welcome (earlier than we were booked in for). 10 minutes from the centre and main sights of Florence. If you're happy with basic living quarters without fuss then this is a good place.

I waited until 4 pm to get the keys. Two unfriendly attendants. Large room, but dirty. Central heater and only ran a few hours of the day. Wifi weak. Sofa bed uncomfortable. It has closet and small kitchen. Close to Santa Maria Novella train station.

Studio was great inside, neat and clean,Had a coffee machine and fridge .Close to Train Station about 5 min walk The couch bed was little uncomfortable. The WIFI was poor had difficulty getting a signal

Very dated , no A/C because it was early OCT. however it was unseasonably warm and we were on the ground floor so we could not open the window. location was not in a very nice part of town , not really close to tourist area , room did not feel clean. dishes need to be washed before use.

We let them know our arrival time and check in was smooth. We weren't expecting much from the room, after viewing the pictures and reading some reviews online, but when he opened our door, we were amazed at how large the space was. It appeared clean and had all the facilities we needed. The location was fantastic, although at night was noisey, but we enjoyed our whole stay, an amazing price for the location and size of room.

I got a good deal on this apartment and it was quite close to the Florence Railway station which was my key decision criteria. Overall apartment was good with decently comfortable beds, full equipped kitchen, hot water in bathroom, working wi-fi etc. Did not expect this to be a Hotel so was not disappointed by overall experience as others have been. Infact I was nicely surprised by the deal that I got on this one.

No-one to give us access to apartment when we arrived. Had to call an Italian number, then wait for the concierge to arrive to let us in (despite having provided specific details of expected time of arrival). Apartment and block in general were very old and dreary - old sofas lying around in corridors, grubby looking blankets on beds, outdated decor on walls and soft furnishings. Wifi didn't work. Quickly shown into room, accepted it and went out for the day. It was a ground floor room and so had numerous large windows all along one wall, overlooking a courtyard. These were all covered with full-length net curtains, which were kept closed for the duration of our stay for privacy. We came back to the apartment, went to sleep, and awoke to find that the room had filled with mosquitos. The window had been left open since before we had arrived - we are still both nursing numerous bites all over our arms and faces, but frankly feel lucky that no-one entered the unsecured room and helped themselves to our valuables. No staff presence on site to explain any of this to - there was one tiny office round the front that, as far as we could see, was unmanned for the duration of our stay.

Was there last year with my boyfriend, the checkin took a while but the owner even though there were a lot of comment saying he was unfriendly, he was nice to us. It's a studio apartment, ours was on the ground floor, we had a kitchen, bathroom, sitting area and the bed in front of the door, it was very spacious, a big rustic decoration, not very recent, everything was very clean. The bathroom shower is a walkin shower so sometimes water would go everywhere even with the shower curtins closed. Bed was extremely comfortable I was surprised, very soft. Only problem we had was that the room had a door that leads to the patio where other people would smoke and talk during the day and sometimes at night, we had to close the curtins as there's a big glass wall/window to the patio and didn't feel very comfortable, walls were a tad thin so we could hear the upstairs neighbours walking and talking same as the street noise. Overall was a nice place to stay, extremely close to the city center, 3 minutes by foot, close to the grocery store restaurants and cafes.
