We were there for 2 nights earlier this week. On the first night, we came back pretty late - so we didn't notice - but on the 2nd night, we couldn't sleep because the room was very hot. The AC would not turn on. We asked the staff - he said it is the hotel policy to turn off AC between 2AM and 7AM. He refused to turn it on. We asked for a fan - but he said all fans were out. We tried sleeping again - could not - I went out protested again with no better result. I decided to sleep in the garden sofa outside of the lobby at 3AM. The desk guy said "go ahead". Then - every 1 hour he came - woke me up and asked me to go in - I said I can't get back to the hot room. He said he can't let me sleep there - I asked him to go ahead and call the Police. I called Orbitz to ask them and figure something out. Orbitz's response was pathetic - they basically couldn't do anything. Then - at 7AM - they still didn't turn on the AC. When I complained again - the maintenance guy came in and attached some wires to the control and made it to work - but it stopped working again at 9AM - we complained again and they fixed again - we checked out at 12 noon. While checking out - I asked them if they would do something in terms of waiver of any payments because of what they put us through. They flatly refused. Horrible staff - horrible experince. I am sending Orbitz a legal letter asking for compensation for that terrible night. I will also ask them to de-list this horrible hotel.

they turn off ac at night
