Excellent location and wonderful staff. Staff was very helpful with our needs
Location is excellent near the train, hop on bus, major sights, shopping, dinning, bars - PERFECT. Hotel is like a gallery of art, sculpture and Italian modern furniture. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The rooftop lounge with pool, bar and eatery is gorgeous and the view is outstanding. Staff is extremely accommodating.
Overall great stay. A few bumps so not 5 star but overall good.
Everything was great. Newly renovated, in a great location close to the station yet in a very quiet aerea. The suites have a fantastic view and excellent breakfast.
Was hard to find via gps The street address is at the back of the hotel. Once we called we found it. Everything else was great
Not only was it terrific, but I also thought it was a good deal for the price. The only downside was that the rooftop terrace was closed due to renovations during my stay.
I really can't say enough good things about my stay at the Grand Hotel Minerva. My train arrived at midnight so I was thrilled that it was only a short walk from the station and easy to find. The doors were open, and staff were on duty, so check in was smooth and I immediately felt at home. Decor is modern yet classically elegant. My room was quiet, comfortable, spacious, and spotless. I was happy to find a hot water pitcher and complimentary tea and coffee, as well as a small fridge that had space to stash my own perishables. The hotel is located on a square that doesn't get as much tourist traffic so it was quieter than the rest of town, but easy to spot from a distance so also a good landmark. Don't hesitate--this is the hotel you want for your trip to Florence!
