Clean, comfortable, quiet, and such a lovely room with a balcony view that can’t be beat. The spa services were easy to schedule with the friendly staff (definitely get a massage while you’re there) and the location was perfect. We were a ten minute walk from the city center and felt both close to everything and far enough away that we could pretend to be locals. Couldn’t have chosen a better place to end our days in Tuscany.

Our stay at Forte16 was lovely and offered great relaxation after a busy day exploring Florence. The room was confortable and clean, with a little noise from the street due to the placement but nothing drastic. Staff were incredibly helpful. The only downside was that the steam room was out of order, but the pool and sauna, as well as the massage availability, was more than enough. It is a bit of a walk into the main centre, but in a city as beautiful as Florence this was not an issue.

The hotel and its staff was very impressive. Our only complaint was the room was always too hot. We asked the to lower the temperature, I believe that they tried. However, it made sleeping very uncomfortable. The windows opened, but the early morning traffic was loud. I would return. The staff was extremely accommodating.

Great hotel!

The hotel was really clean and modern. The pool area was lovely and a welcome relaxing area providing a chill out atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. We paid for the hot tub and enjoyed that as a family. I used the outdoor gym which was a brilliant addition, I would have preferred this to be open before 8am but it was fine.

Clean and tidy hotel with roof top terrace and jacuzzi plus swimming pool and spa on basement level. 15-20 minute walk to the Duomo in the buzzing centre of Florence. Local supermarkets and restaurants within 3-4 minute walk but much more choice the closer you get to the centre.
