From the moment we arrived, we were transported to another world! The staff, the property, the food, the rooms ~ every. single. detail. is perfection! I could lose myself in the library for days, and the rooms are so incredibly comfortable and well-appointed that I never wanted to leave them. Although, once I did pry myself from the luxurious accommodations, I was in heaven in every part of the property. Our daughter loved the pool, and the location is incredible! Only a few minutes from Florence city center! If I could move in, I would in a heartbeat. Dream stay!
Very beautiful renaissance villa transformed into a great hotel. The view is stunning as you face Florence from a nearby hill. The rooms are beautiful and filled with original pieces of art. I would say that the restaurant is not quite as the same level as the hotel and a bit overpriced. Overall you can't go wrong if you book there.
Firstly, we have to mention how good the staff are. They are attentive in every way. Before we arrived they helped with restaurant reservations also. On the day we arrived someone rushed out the front doors to greet us and immediately offered us a glass of procesco. We then had a guided tour of the facilities before being shown to our rooms. If it was raining they would escort us to the taxi with an umbrella. It is pricey (55 euros for a bottle of Rose wine) but it is the case you get what you pay for - sitting on the veranda overlooking Florence in the sunshine - the surrounding views are amazing. Breakfast is served in the Library if the weather is rainy and on the veranda if the weather is good - there is a great choice to suit all requirements (including Gluten Free). It is would definitely like to go back some day. Thanks to all the staff who made the stay so pleasurable. The spa is pretty awesome as well!
Beautiful facility hidden between trees with an amazing view ! Rooms refurbished , clean and the bathroom is amazing !! 24 hour in room dinning ( which is rare to find in europe) It's the place to go to if u want a romantic holiday or a solo holiday to rejuvenate I intend to try their spa... I booked for one night and I'm starting to regret it .. I should have planned to stay for a longer period . Diffenetely coming back again 🖤
This property is gorgeous! It has the ideal location...far enough away from city center of Florence with amazing views of The Duomo and Florence but nestled in a quiet Tuscany-like area! We traveled here with our 2 little boys in tow - ages 3 and 6 years old. We stayed in a Family Suite (with spiral staircase to an upstairs loft where both boys slept)...a little nervous about the stairs initially but our 3 year old is mature and listens well so we didn't allow playing on the stairs. The food was delicious, the pool was beautiful and the shuttle to the city was a great perk...saved tons in taxi fees. The staff was especially friendly and accommodating! Would absolutely return to this property!
We stayed here twice this Easter and enjoyed it so much. The staff is so nice and does everything to make your stay a happy one. We liked the rooms a lot, they are very practical. The breakfast is great and so is the dinner. Sitting at the terrace, where they serve so many nice dishes, the view over Florence is amazing. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.
We went there for an evening appetizer and it was wonderful! The garden and the view are really amazing. The staff is very nice and the food too! 20€ in taxi from the Duomo area. I really recommend this place.
We will return! A wonderful boutique hotel perched above the city with a sweeping view, yet easily accessible via a short, complementary shuttle ride to and from downtown. Cocktails on the veranda prior to dinner in the library was the perfect way to spend our first evening in Italy. The bedroom and bathroom suite ensured a relaxing and luxurious respite; the restaurant menu was expansive, providing a variety of exquisite dishes for dinner and a wonderful buffet for breakfast. The grounds were immaculate. The entire staff went out of their way to ensure we were provided with the best experiences. Most Highly Recommended..
Enjoyed our first wedding anniversary here. Incredible views and lovely grounds. Food and drink overpriced (in particular the cocktails and supper menus). Service at breakfast was often quite slow and the rooms / common parts had the odd area where touch ups were required, in light of the prices charged. The service around the pool area was exceptional. We were kindly upgraded on our final night to the second priciest suite. This is a 4.5/5 hotel but we can only give it a 4 when compared to similarly-priced hotels we had stayed in that deserved a 5/5 (JK Roma, Monastero Santa Rosa, Kapari Place).
This place is gorgeous! You feel like it's your private residence... if you were really rich and loved mahogany. The bathrooms alone are incredible. The views are outstanding. Fling your windows open and overlook all of Florence. The food is only OK and a bit pricey, but it's convenient and the grounds of the property are great. Pool is also really nice.
