Right across the street from main train station, and if you are driving there is a garage right next door with slightly discounted rates for guests. It's only a 10-minute walk to many of the main sights in Florence. Hotel was pretty nice -- the room was quiet, modern (though the beds were extremely soft) and it had a nice bathroom. The common areas of the hotel were attractive. The breakfast buffet was good. My only real complaint is that the air conditioning was very weak, and in Mid-July in Florence, this is not acceptable. It was much too warm in the room as well as in the common areas of the hotel.

We found ourselves staying at this hotel despite having booked into the C Hotel which proved difficult to find and when we did so we were redirected to this hotel. it is in fact extremely convenient to the station but because of the above we took a lot of time finding it.Our room was quite small and a very long distance from reception but was otherwise comfortable. The hotel served a reasonable buffet breakfast and staff at reception were helpful. it is very conveniently located in relation to the attractions of Florence but I would not be staying there on any future visit.

My wife and I stayed here on a recent visit to Tuscany. The hotel is located just across the road from the major rail station and is within comfortable walking distance from a number of attractions. Our room was clean and comfortable and we were well looked after by reception staff. Breakfast was good and there was certainly plenty of variety, even if getting there was somewhat convoluted due to the strange lift system.

I think the only reason you might want to stay in this hotel is if you absolutely must be next to the train station. Otherwise, the proximity to the station means that your hotel room will be loud and smelly if you choose to open the door/windows to the balcony. The a/c hardly worked and it was extremely hot in the 3 rooms our party booked. Our TV didn't work and properly and our hair dryer was broken. If you book a room at this hotel, bring your own toiletries as the only ones provided are shampoo and shower caps. The breakfast is just ok and you have to sit in the basement (with no natural lighting) to eat.

After two miserable days in sweltering European heat we could not have been happier to find this hotel only a few feet away from the west exit of the train station. Our rooms were not as close as we had requested but they were very nice and comfortable. The staff was wonderful answering our every need. There was some noisy construction going on but it was limited to the hours we were out and about. Don't let it be a concern. When complete I am sure the hotel will be even nicer. We were grateful that on our departure date the hotel graciously let us check out a little bit late and then held our bags until departure time of our train. But be forewarned that unlike most other cities in Europe there is nothing good or convenient to eat on the train available in the train station before you leave.

We stayed at this hotel for two nights on a 10 night track across Italy. By far the worst hotel of the entire experience. Here's a detailed account of the issues we faced. First of all our bags were supposed to be delivered to the room. The bags were delivered to the wrong room with one bag simply left out in the hallway for us to find. Second, the air in our hotel room didn't work during a heat wave in the city. We were hot the whole time we were there and it was miserable. Third, the hotel was under construction on the floor we stayed on. They had no business putting guests right next to the construction area. The power went off in the room late in the night so we took showers that morning in the dark. It wasn't a hotel wife problem just our room. To make matters worse members of the staff were rude. When we tried to change rooms it was a fight and they were difficult to work with. I do feel bad for complaining about the staff because a few of the folks we dealt with were really helpful. On the positive side the breakfast ma were pretty good. There are plenty of hotel choices. I strongly encourage future travelers to avoid this hotel.

Literally across the street from the stazione ferroviaria and within easy walking distance of several good restaurants, we were pleased with the price point/quality of this facility. We looked forward to the breakfasts every morning—the wait staff is fantastic—and coming back every night to a clean and sizable room with a very good bed and bedding.

Stayed here for 3 nights and taken 3 rooms . 2nd night there was Aircondition failure and struggled for 3 hours with no solution . Had to sleep with 2 small children and wife in a room with no ventilation and a small table fan . Because of this will miss my next day tour. All this has left a bad taste as it spoilt my vacation and cause physical and mental stress along with monetary loss . Request Senior management for help as feeing helpless had been India or UK the services are too good it is horrible in this hotel.

I and my family stayed at this hotel for 2nights, we have two rooms, one of them had very hot water for washing, the other , when open the water, it was flowing in the room!! The next problem , in the second night, the door of room number 284B ,didn't close!!! We announced to reseption, several times, but they did nothing!! Finally, we was 4 people that slept in one room with very hot water!!!

We stayed here with a Trafalgar tour. Hotel is very close to the train station which was convenient for us. Our room was newly remodeled kitchenette style, but was an extra charge if you use the kitchen part. Room overlooked Via Santa Caterina de Siena. Room has double windows so no problem with any street noise. We found the WiFi to be spotty, we were not able to connect all the time. The Breakfast is on the lower level (basement). We found plenty of food we liked.
