Great breakfast. Really nice location. Hotel is very nice and had no issues with service.

A stay at this beautifully decorated and conveniently located Hotel was a delight. Excellent resturants are just a 5 Minute walk from the Hotel. The City Center is only a 10 Minute walk. Their breakfast is excellent, the facilities quite clean, the bed very comfortable, and the bath more than adequate. The staff was very helpful. Internet Service in the common Areas was quite adequate so I did not add it to our room. Expect this Hotel to be more of an insight into old Florence than a modern Cookie-cuter facility, however. Areas that I would have liked to have been improved were the AC controls and door fit.

This hotel was so, so lovely! I took a train in from Milan and was not feeling so well and very tired after a long day of traveling, so took a cab to the hotel. He knew exactly where it was and a quick trip...but it is also very walkable I walked back for my train home with a backpack, no issues, in under 20 minutes. The desk staff all spoke perfect English and the grounds are beautiful. There is a large entry way the provides some privacy for the lobby and rooms, so you are not right on the sound. I was checked into the front room right off the lobby and never had any issues with noise. The lady that checked me in and was mainly working at the desk noticed that I seemed a bit lethargic and was very nice about asking how I felt and if I needed anything. The bed was comfortable and the room was HUGE by European standards. Bathroom also was fairly large. While the wifi on the public grounds is free, it did cost money in the rooms, but I was able to pick up a decent free signal from my room. The breakfast in the morning was varied and good for a quick bite to start the day. One afternoon when I was feeling especially bad, I spent a few hours in the garden out back. So green with lemon trees and birds chirping. Just wish the benches were more comfortable! It was a very short walk to the Duomo and so many gelato options! The price was a bargain for all of its features. tldr: Great location, staff, and rooms. Absolutely adore this place, would happily return and have recommended it to so many friends.

This hotel had the most wonderful public areas and the staff were very good. the only problem I encountered was limited wifi. There was free wifi in the public areas but to have it in the room cost from 5 to 20 euros

The staff was very friendly. Awesome breakfast service. The only issue was the internet service and location. Otherwise, it is a beautiful hotel. Recommended for senior couples.

very nice staff room was a little small beds were very uncomfortable but the tub was large and the service was great

I was pleasantly surprised at how the hotel matched the online photos. It was so charming with many pieces of art and antiques through out the hotel. The location was central though complimentary guide maps were not necessarily oriented correctly. It was no problem though as Florence is a small town. The staff was most gracious and spoke English and several other languages. The guests were international and engaging. Breakfast was a nice buffet featuring a wide variety. Except for some street noise it was a wonderful place.

great staff help. Terrific location close to everything and very quiet

Close to everything, very convenient, nice hotel. Staff was not very helpful, hard to get to by car. Parking its 22 Euros a night, too much and it's behind the hotel. I contacted the help desk to give me direction and said he could not do it over the phone, he should just tell me it was behind the hotel, I spend an hour just to come back twice and park. Hotel was nice over all. if you don't have a car, it is worth it.

This former palace is like being in an museum with antiques: oil paintings, the fabulous breakfast room with a huge leaded window wall. A 7 minute walk to Duomo, very helpful staff.

The hotel was beautiful and close to everything. The staff were very helpful.

This hotel was beautiful, well appointed, and in a great location. The staff was very helpful and welcoming. The only issue we had was with the taxi driver who did not bring the large taxi as the hotel clerk requested. The breakfast was very nice including eggs, meats and cheeses. We would definitely stay there again

We had a great stay. The location was great and the rooms each were different and beautiful. magical place and a GREAT breakfast

a former monastery, you need to pass through the cloister to get to your room. has one of the coziest little bars i;ve ever seen. only reservation is that breakfast contains no variety. on the other hand, with salami, prosciutto, gorganzola and fresh fruit, as well as top-notch florentine pastries, what difference does it make??

Good value and good location. Although my room was a bit dark and small, the hotel itself is charming.

i have stayed at Monna Lisa 4 or 5 times over the past ten years and it has become disappointing. Rooms need a major upgrade - walls are dirty as are rugs. TV required two remotes to work - when I went to the staff to complain about the TV nor working I was told "the world does not work". Breakfast is marginal but breakfast staff was prompt. I will not stay here again unless they do a major refurbishment. Too many hotels in Florence at reasonable rates to take this level of service.

The Mona Lisa is quite old but has its charm. Our room was small and rather depressing. The gardens around the property and the big pots of plants were lovely. The hotel has no elevator so carrying suitcases was difficult. There are porters to help if you ask, however. The breakfast was wonderful!

Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful!!!!!! I cannot say enough.

Florence doesn't have parks near downtown---just cobbled piazzas which are great for dining, or coffee. But for tree-shaded leisure with a breeze and sun-lit greenery, the Monna Lisa's garden is tops. Few other guests made time to sit and read with coffee or wine but we loved to relax here after visiting museums and churches.

I loved my stay at the Monna Lisa hotel. If I could, I would give it a ten! Wonderful artwork & plenty of comfortable common areas with free WiFi. My favorite was sitting in the beautiful garden with my ipad. I felt I was in the Florence of long ago. The staff spoke English & went out of their way to be helpful which was appreciated by a single woman traveler. The breakfast was great with personal service, good china and silver tea pots. What could be better. Book early as they book up quickly.
