Excellent host. Everything was clean and updated. However, if you want a very weak shower, this place is not for you. Also, the apartment is on the fifth floor with no elevator. 76 steps to get up there. The air vents shoot out massive dust bunnies. If you have allergies, no good for you.

Nowhere in the listing does it say that this is a five floor walk up. By the time I had carried our seven bags up, I was dripping with perspiration. The apartment was clean but lacking basic things like coffee pods for the morning. Bathrooms were poorly lit, shower felt like a fine mist. The window to the very busy square below did not close properly making the noise and issue for my kids at night. Party goes on until 3am below. I asked to have it fixed and they said to “send a photo” refusing to come without. I did not have a photo and so it was not fixed. Overall I would not stay here again and would not have booked a five floor walking with enough luggage for our wedding weekend.

Overall, we had a lovely stay in this apartment and really appreciated its spaciousness and prime location. That said, there are several important details that future guests should be aware of, which should also be described in the listing. For instance, it’s NOT A TRUE 3-BEDROOM! One of the beds is a loft within the master bedroom. Additionally:•Noise: The apartment sits directly above lively bars and restaurants, so evenings can be very loud, and mornings also from vendors setting up. This is understandable given the location; however, one of the master bedroom windows does not seal properly, which makes the noise more amplified.•Stairs: The apartment is at the very top of a tall building (for Florence standards). The views are worth the climb, but guests should be prepared. It’s great exercise, though not ideal if you have mobility issues — in our case, one of us was recovering from a leg injury, which made the stay less pleasant. •Appliances: A few small maintenance issues came up. Some lamps weren’t working, the dryer unfortunately did not dry clothes even after several cycles, and detergent was not provided. We reached out to the host but did not receive a response.Communication was confusing (3 different WhatsApp numbers Vrbo chat). Addressing these small issues a more transparent description in the listing would make this property far more appealing. Hope this helps!

TRAVELER BEWARE: this property is deceptive and misleading. We were a group of 6 travelers - 3 couples all between the ages of 65-75. We booked this property because of the 3 bedroom setup, only to arrive and discover that the 3rd "bedroom" was just a lofted bed above one of the other bedrooms, i.e. NO privacy. And the stairs you had to take to get to the loft were steep and treacherous. Not ideal for late night bathroom trips in the dark, especially at our age. We were incredibly disappointed by the misrepresentation in the listing which clearly states 3 bedrooms. It is not. It should be listed as 2 bedrooms with an additional bed. We were incredibly uncomfortable the entire stay, taking turns who had to sleep in the loft bed and who spent the night on the couch. We were even more disappointed by the lack of empathy/understanding by the VRBO host. They could not have cared less. They claimed the listing was accurate and would not budge. We asked them for a partial refund so 2 of us could go stay in a hotel more comfortably, but they refused. They were even so rude as to say- "what do you want us to do? build you a third bedroom?" No, what we would LIKE is for you to represent your listing accurately and/or be willing to make retributions when you have unhappy guests due to your false claims. Further- it is not detailed anywhere on the listing but this apartment is on the 5th floor and there are NO elevators in the building. That's 75 stairs to lug your suitcases up and down.
