Although we had a very short stay, it was very welcoming and warming. We called ahead letting them know that we'd be there late since we were traveling from another town in Italy, and they were there waiting for us to arrive. (Definitely different from a previous bad experience at a hostel). The guy at the desk showed us to our room and offered us a small breakfast for the next morning and even called a taxi for us to have early morning for the airport. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. Not really a hotel, but a converted house. More like a boarding house. No manned front desk to speak of. Awful neighborhood. A slum.
