There is only one resort on this island so it’s quiet nice however a lot of ships are coming with tourists during the day so some beaches are crowd. We did not like the service Maintenance we asked for 2 plates and knifes waited 3 hours no response Needed to call again Diving shop There are Hugh lines when are you coming around 3 pm no pools towels They send to reception deck. They have people for check in. Need to wait again. 2 persons are servicing one couple, asked for towel they pretended to be busy. Restaurant Working hours for breakfast 9-11 am. We and other couple arrived at 10 am, they said no more reservation despite on a lot of tables were vacant.
This is a really nice hotel with comfortable accommodation. Great except for two things: 1.) It's on an island, and the boat that takes you to and from the island is not included. 2.) Once they have you on the island the resort owners know they are the only game in town so the food and activities are expensive in price and only adequate in quality. That's why I'd be disinclined to recommend it.
So amazing hotel. Great place, heavenly turquoise water. Such a beautiful beach. Food is good but a little bit expensive, there is only 1 restaurant and Bar. Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms looks very posh, clean and tidy. Most important WIFI access in every place around the hotel.
What a adventure! We loved it. Everything is perfect, although the pool could be better. Anyway, if you have time, this is it.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at Fitzroy Island and would love to visit once again. Nudey Beach is the most beautiful we have ever seen.
We had a great time on this island. It wasn't crowded and it was very low key. We upgraded to an ocean view and it was fabulous. They have a sea turtle rescue on the island, save our sea turtles, and for a small fee you can take a tour. The island supports this endeavor so your fee goes right to the organization. The tours and beaches were great and the pool is only for the overnight guests so it doesn't get real crowded with day trippers. The big rooms have a kitchenette if you want to cook and also a washer and dryer I would highly recommend you stay at this island instead of the more commercial islands
Beautiful location and island. Plenty to do in 2 day stay. Fantastic reef and we had a great time snorkeling just off the shore. Room is average. We have lots of tiny ants and one gecko in our room. It is island life. Very bad cellular reception and only a small area has wifi. Great place to get away from a connected life. Food is very expensive. So pack your own food before heading out there.
