Our room was clean but was old and had a bad smell. Pool area was unclean, grim floating in the hottub and never any clean towels. Breakfast was ok, but the waffle area was "out of order". Would not stay here again.

We had a terrible experience with professionalism upon attempting to check in to this hotel. We had to book it for one of our travel nurses last minute as she ran into a blizzard en route to her contract, we booked this in her name and when she got there to check in she was met with a male worker that had a terrible attitude. She is from Louisiana and utilized nationally recognized LA Wallet. YOU CAN BOARD A PLANE USING LA WALLET and he would not accept her drivers license this way, despite her having a card in her name as well for incidentals. The poor gal literally had to sleep in the parking lot in her car during a blizzard because he refused to check her in. I even got on the phone with him to try to talk him through it and he was RUDE from the get go. He then threw her phone across the counter to her after hanging up with me. I would never send another one of our travelers or anyone here!!

The room was clean and pet friendly. The reason I did not give 5 stars is because the king size mattress was dalling off the bedframe and too heavy for me to move. The room was not serviced so mattress remained partially off frame. I tried to remedy the situation through text without resolution.

There wasn't anyone at the front desk at check in, we waited 10 minutes before a staff person noticed us, and found someone else to help.The rooms were tiny, not much space to even walk in them. It is definitely an older hotel, without any upgrades. The pool area was small, the spiral staircase up to the slides was rusty, old and didn't look very clean. Staff rudely came in at 9pm when we had just gotten in the hot tub and told us the pool was closed. When I asked, "I thought it was open until 11pm tonight?" She rudely responded, "It's closed, you need to get out." As I walked over to grab towels for my teenagers, she again said rudely, "You need to get out now!" After grabbing the towels and handing them to my kids getting out, she turned the lights off on us?! We walked back to our pool side room in the dark! My husband went to the front desk to talk to management about it, the guy was on the phone when he walked up. When the guy got off the phone my husband said, "Hey man, do you have a minute?" He totally ignored him, walked to the back room and didn't come back out for over 5 minutes. My husband gave up at that point and came back to the room, without talking to anyone. I then sent a message to the hotel. I got a response this morning from management apologizing, stating that the pool had to be closed for emergency maintenance, and that her staff could have handled it better. It was the worst hotel experience we have ever had, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!
