This was our best accommodation of the summer! Our cottage was absolutely adorable, with a tiny kitchenette and a porch out front. It was an easy walk to the beach and to restaurants. It was quiet, with lots of mature trees and picnic tables in a park-like setting.

Wonderful stay

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was friendly and efficient. The housekeeper was wonderful. The room was conscientiously cleaned and made up the same way every day. The grounds were beautiful with a gate to access the short walk to the beach. It was also a short walk to The Black Dog for breakfast or lunch. We were in a king room on the second floor of Grand House. The room was ample and comfortable for 2 people. Only complaint was that the new pillows were very high and that the new bed was also high for a 5 ft grandma.

Very much enjoyed my stay here, first time visiting cape cod and this was the perfect place to stay. The staff were very friendly and informative. I had came late to check in for my flight had delayed, they were very on top of it to ensure I had a smooth check in when I arrived close to 1 am lol. Highly recommend if you like to have a warm welcoming for your first trip to cape cod :) also love the building it was so beautiful!

When I asked the desk clerk, "which way to the beach" she breezily pointed south and said, "That way." We then walked 15 minutes (the website says "3 minute walk to beach") to find only a private beach. She might have had the courtesy to say, "Take a left on Grand Avenue" which was not an obvious choice but would have led us to the public beach ( a six mintue walk, after all!). Other than that, it was a nice motel.
