As always our room was clean. The staff is amazingly helpful & polite.

The rooms were nice. The staff was super nice & very helpful. Cute little pool. Good breakfast.

Nice hotel, secluded area yet still close to downtown and area attractions.

I had forgotten my pretty scarf in the room and went back to the hotel a few hours later and it was gone.

I had arranged for a bicycle to be waiting for me upon my arrival. The staff at Best Western took the bike into their care and treated it as a guest. It was housed securely indoors and wheeled out to me upon my arrival. They then allowed me to keep the bike in my room. I came and went with that bike day after day, and the staff wished me a pleasant ride and welcomed me back every time. Fairbanks is a bicycle friendly town, and the Best Western Pioneer Park is situated close to a beautiful bike/foot bridge which leads to miles of bike paths.

Went there for our daughters wedding. Everything in Fairbanks is close. Withing 5 to 10 minutes. People at the hotel were really great. Enjoyed the breakfast.

This is a nice place, and I would definitely stay here again. The room was nice, clean, and comfortable. Although I didn't get a chance to use it, there was a large jetted tub in the room, which is pretty cool. The setting is nice too - it's in the middle of town, close to everything, but it's situated in the middle of some park land or privately held land, and it feels like it's out in the middle of the forest somewhere. You should consider staying here if your travels bring you to Fairbanks.

So the guy that checked us in was very nice and thorough and approved a late check out of noon but of course the next morning like many other times that we were told we could have a late checkout we get a call saying we need to be out by 11. My guy answered the phone and the girl told him the latest checkout was 11 so I called her back and she changed her tune and said oh right 12 is the latest. 99 of the other hotels we stay in, the normal check out time is noon and not 11 like Best Western which I think is rediculous. The main reason we stay at this hotel is the relaxing time from work sitting in a hot tub, otherwise I would not stay here due to the early checkout rules. Now there are stains on the bedding and the tub is in desperate need of new caulking since it is deteriorating and needs replaced. I would not recommend this hotel like I used to because of the staff that does not update the computer noting a late check out and I have stayed here many times this year and was told they would make sure my stays were added to my best western points and none of them were. Very disappointing.

I stayed here because the power was out in Fairbanks. I had no electric for 5 days. I have stayed here before over the years. It is nicer now. The pool was warm! That was awesome. They have a nice breakfast with some hot food like eggs and bacon. The rooms had built in shampoo and soap, so I missed taking home my small gifts. There was a nice choice of coffees in the room. It would be nice if shampoo and such were in the shower where the pool is. The floor in the room seems to be better than in the past. Not so slippery. It would be nice if there is a special discount if power is out in Fairbanks. Thanks for that.

I know the power outage was not their fault, but they didn't have a backup generator. In Fairbanks power outages are a common occurrence and they should invest in one if they want to maintain happy guests. It's also dark most of the time in the winter. I had to get ready in complete darkness (which is awful when you're visiting on business and have to be presentable - no power for a hair dryer, or curling iron), navigate my way down the hall to leave the building in complete darkness. A tree had fallen down and blocked on of the entrances which wasn't addressed immediately. It would have been a great stay if there would have been light. The breakfast was okay. There should have been more offered for the cost of the room. Location is not ideal and is far from anything exciting.

Hello we stay here and they were very friendly and nice a good place to stay

The Hotel was very nice, located in a very nice area, privacy was great both the location and the atmosphere of the hotel, staff was great(especially the breakfast staff, very hard working). The room had wifi, mini fridge and cable TV everything you need for the most part for a 10 day trip with your significant other. Me and my girlfriend loved the hotel very much and plan on staying there next summer. price is average/fair, staff was great and overall it was what i was looking for in the location. I gotta give it to their breakfast crew, very quick paced and maintain a good attitude while guest are eating everything they can get their hands on. their

We really loved this hotel in the beginning because the rooms were clean and location is nice and quite and safe and it's nice to escape from work and go enjoy kicking back in the hottub. The last few times we have our room not ready at 10pm at night and almost had to find another room somewhere else until they finaly got the room cleaned after the housekeeper chose to go home without cleaning it. So this time we arrived after the 4pm check in time and our room was not ready again. The front desk clerk said the bed had only sheets on it, we had to go find something to do for an hour so they could finish the room. We were gone for almost 2 hours and came back and the room was ready. At least that is what they said. We got into the room and nothing was dusted. There was dust all over the TV, stands and the microwave had so much dust on it I doubt it had been cleaned in a very long time. We went to use the hot tub and I had to clean it before we could even use it since there was some dust and black marks on it that came off after cleaning it. Also its stinks that when sitting on the bed that the sheets don't even fit properly and they come off just from sitting on it. I have worked in lodging and if my housekeepers had EVER left a room the way we found I would fire them. And I would never let my housekeepers go home without cleaning all vacant rooms. Its bad business if you a customer come in and you say you have a room but its not clean so they have to go somewhere else. I hope that this issue will be addressed because we do like this hotel but if it continues to go downhill we will have to go find a different place to stay and we certainly won't recommend it. On the good side the girl that checked us in was very pleasant and apologetic unlike the girl we checked out with who did not seem to care about our dirty room issue.

The hotel staff was very helpful and the location was very secluded and away from main roads. The hotel was very clean and I enjoyed our stay.

Always a good experience at this hotel, had a problem getting ahold of the front desk this time so we could see if we could get a late check out and after trying for over an hour the girl finally picked up and rudely said we could only have until 11:30 and so when we checked out I informed Destiny of the problem and she said there was nothing noting that we were to have a late check out but apologized and offered to let us stay later but we were already checked out.

This hotel is very secluded and private. It's a quiet setting. The staff are generous and helpful.

At the BestWestern Pioneer Plus Hotel it was a great experience. The location is secluded. It's a safe, clean, and warm hotel. I enjoyed the comfort as well as staff the most.

My husband and I stopped in Fairbanks for a couple of days in the midst of our Monumental Road Trip from Tennessee to Alaska, and back. After all the driving, I needed a good, quiet break. We rested well and the staff was quite pleasant and helpful. The setting was ideal.

I was very disappointed that the pool was not in working order. I feel the room should have been discounted. The room was very comfortable, however we were never able to get housekeeping to clean our room very well for the 9 nights we stayed. We had a king size bed and a couch bed. Housekeeping would "make" the king bed and never touch the couch bed. We ran out of toilet paper, tissue, and soap every other day. Breakfast was good but they constantly ran out of food and when they did the attendant took forever to refill anything. I also felt like the breakfast area was extremely small. Hotel was nice but need to work on their customer service.

The staff was rated 5 star. I was disappointed that the pool was not in service. Breakfast could not have been better. I was very impressed with the food and the service of having it ready.
