This place is not what I expected from the reviews. Though the staff was very friendly when checking in and out I would not recommend this place. The room was a little out dated which was not too bad. What turned me off was the stained or dirty towels and sheets. They did not clean our room very well after the first day or did not vacuum. Bed not made well. Not to mention a funny smell from comforter.

The motel was very clean room. Very surprised by the cleanliness of the motel and its spaciousness. Room had a microwave and refrigerator as well. Staff was nice. It was nice to know a security station was across the street.

Our stay was very comfortable quite and restful. Price for the value of service, accommodations and Cleanliness awesome

It was a cute Hotel, and check in was simple, friendly staff, but the room smelled like a bleach factory. We opened all the windows and door, went to dinner with the windows still open and when we returned you could still smell the bleach even before you opened the door. When I called the office they came over immediately and agreed it was overwhelming, they changed rooms right away, gave us the room right next door which made it easier to move our stuff.

Hotel was ok. Clean and near downtown. We enjoyed our stay.

A wonderful place to stay. The staff is a joy to talk to. Breakfast is the usual, coffee, tea, cereal, toast, etc. The rooms are well kept and clean. The beds are quite comfortable. You would be doing yourself a favor if you stayed here.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel while in Eureka for the Arts Alive Saturday. It was clean and cozy. The breakfast was standard fare, toast and cereal, but it was enough to get us going. I highly recommend staying here.

Only was there to shower and sleep. Place was clean and service was friendly.

As expected it was a average hotel. It was clean and comfortable for the night I stayed.

We stayed in Eureka for one night on the way back from a trip from Silicon Valley to Oregon. Along the way, we stayed at 3 Rodeway Inns. This was the nicest. Funny thing is, it's kind of hard to provide examples to illustrate exactly why. When we got there, the room was "readier", the check-in "smoother", the amenities more obvious, the parking lot felt more secure. The internet was readily accessible (other Rodeways: (1) not accessible, and (2) one wireless connection didn't provide DNS addys.). Speed was reasonable. Room was comfy. Hauling-out and checking-out were smoothly supported. Housekeeping staff were on-the-job and accommodating. Again, it's tough to put your finger on one thing, but it runs better than your av-er-age place.

Well we tried to go to sleep around 11 pm. But instead we listened to what sounded like a backhoe at work. We looked out the window and it appeared to be a refrigerator truck running across the street.

The room was really, big, nice and clean. And it was not noisy at all. They gave me first a dark room but I asked for a change and they immediately gave a better one. The staff was very nice (they just were in kind of a hurry for me to leave at 11.00 a.m., but again that was the hour Ihad to leave). The breakfast quite normal, which is not bad at all (scones, muffins, cereals, juices, coffee or tea) The hotel is near the old Eureka, which is so beautiful. In general, a pleasant stay. I would come back

Decent spot for the money. The rooms are pretty large (however dated - see the green carpet and old furnishings). But, at the end of the day, it's a perfectly acceptable place to lay your head for a budget price. One gripe - although our room was non-smoking (and I think that the hotel is) I'm not sure if there were left over smells in the furnishings/beddings, etc. I could definitely smell the "smokiness" as I was laying in bed.

We liked this hotel, the staff were good. The location is perfect with proximity to many eat-outs and located on hwy 101. it can get a little noisy at night if your room is close to 101. but the hotel location was a steal for the $60 we paid for a night. two things i was not so happy about is 1) the bed.. it is rather uncomfortable, feels like each part of your body is at a different level. But that could just be me since I am so used to sleeping on an extra firm mattress 2) The breakfast: if you are banking on eating a sumptuous breakfast before heading out so you won't feel hungry before you actually eat lunch, then you would be wrong. Luckily we had some food from home that we had got the previous day

The room was big and clean. It was basic but all we needed. Breakfast was just cereal and toast, but for the price and the location this place is excellent.

Good location to visit local attractions ave of Ave of the Giants and beachs

My girlfriend and I drove from Seattle to San Diego and this was one of the best motels we found along the way in terms of value, cleanliness, and the overall quality of the room and services. We'd definitely stay here again. The hotel had free wi-fi, cereal and coffee in the morning, and a large flat screen in the room. Our only complaint was that it took over an hour for heater to heat up the room -- but it was an unseasonably cold day in California.

It was perfect for our road trip. WIFI and breakfast for free. Clean and confortable. We were just a bit cold during the night, but it was ok. I'd go back for sure !

This was a great experience...We don't travel alot, but this place was friendly, clean and helpful. We would stay here again. We don't stay in high dollar motels/hotels so it worked out great for us! Good for families too! Great value foir the money! As we toured we found alot of the motels were not very nice by appearances in the area, except for of course the "high dollar ones." They were reasonable in price and clean.

Very nice. Congenial host. A very good bargain for a business trip.
