They treat people like a criminal stand out side while freezing and they hollering through a little hole. Find a different place to stay

I'm not sure if this was recently remodeled or is new but it looks new. The whole place including The room had that "New house" smell. Staff was good too.

Area was a little sketchy but hotel was nice and clean. Need to lock exits at night.

Over all not a bad place to stay. In the evening while leaving to go to dinner walked out the back door and boy did it stink outside. Smell was gone in the morning but trash was all over the ground by their garbage bin. Clerk during check in was very pleasant and even offered a coupon for the Cook house. Went there and forgot to use coupon, Lol. Sure wished we had. Terrible terrible terrible. Wished we'd stay and had the hotels breakfast. Looked really good.

There were things that were good...breakfast excellent room very clean, however there were things that were bad closet door fell off when touched, bed was hard, the breakfast room was too small for the number of guests trying to get breakfast at the same time! Overall not a bad experience I would stay here again for the value!

Stayed here before. Nice, clean and normally quiet and a hot breakfast. This time I did hear another rooms tv at 2am for a short time. Good location for seeing the CA redwoods N and S of hotel.

Room was clean, well organized, and up to date. All electronics in the room functioned well. Bed was comfortable. [...] Although we didn't bring a pet with us this trip, it would have been helpful if the no pet policy of the hotel would have been prominently listed in the hotel description. It would have been quite stressful to have brought a pet, and not to have known of the policy until check-in.

noticed a slightly unpleasant smell when we arrived, but not in the rooms. free breakfast sounded good. the next morning, the stink was pronounced, and unmistakeably sewage: the hotel is next door to the sewage dump for a mobile home park! What is worse, all the outside doors facing the adjoining property were wedged open, so you had to face the smell on the way to and from breakfast. the manager refused to close any of the doors, claiming this would be "inconvenient"

the people were nice, breakfast is okay, there were scramble eggs, toast, make your own waffle, yogurt and other items you get from Costco. over all its okay,it's a nice place to stay in for one night.
