Had roaches very dirty dirty bedding sticky floors dirty towels

If you are not a complete crackhead, you may not enjoy your stay here very much: The room we had was painted in depression grey colors, the carpet torn as if a cat had had its way with it, pillow cases were blood stained, the bed held up by the Holy Bible. The personnel seems to be chain smoking everywhere: When asked for fresh towels, they gave us pool towels (the pool was not available) which smelled from cigarette smoke. The “non-smoking” room smelled from cigarette smoke hastily febreezed. The maid didn’t make the room when the door sign requested her to do so all day. Yes, it is a cheap hotel, but we didn’t even get what we paid for. If you have any self-respect, don’t stay here.

The soundproofing is trash here. You can hear everything outside.

When you think of shady motel this fits it to a tee. The Staff was excellent better than the higher priced motel staff. Just bad area.

Dirty and dangerous area.room smelled awful, dirty table counters and mattress.

Had free breakfast in the morning and they even have a good pool!

nice lady runs it but bad neighborhood, wifi didn't work for my 3 day stay, not fancy for sure but cheap and friendly and clean enough/lots of hot water and a nice swimming pool which i didn't use. good for a traveler on a budget

We had a friend in from Australia and wanted simply to drive north in California and see stuff. This hotel was a good value, and centrally located in the area we visited.

We were in town for the night for a race. Basic housing for one night. Nothing fancy, however I didn't expect there to be.

Old worn motel, a little grungy and dirty on the edges, but had clean towels and clean sheets, certainly good enough for some over night rest and sleep... Very Nice and Friendly Staff...

I would stay here again. We arrived close to midnight and were able to get checked in by the woman on staff quickly. The room was clean and comfy. I had selected a non-smoking room, however I was surprised that I wasn't even aware I had been given a smoking room till the next morning when I saw an ash tray- it didn't smell like I would have expected! Overall a nice place to stay on the cheap while road tripping.

an aging hotel in a somewhat iffy neighborhood. homeless people roamed the parking lot. no problems however. the hotel was clean and quiet.

The place was really old and cell block looking. It was almost embrassing to take my guest there.

The hotel is at the North end of town. It is average, maybe a bit dated, but the man at the desk was great. Enjoyed the half Costco muffins on the way out in the morning.

Positive: It was quiet, the whole place is like a bomb shelter as far as sound filtering and making sure no one else is heard. I rather like that. Negative: Air conditioner is way out of service. Froze up a lot and didn't exactly provide anything towards the act of cooling a room of that size ... it was simply overpowered by the job it had to do. Electrical connections, you have one or two free ones in inconvenient places. I usually bring a powerstrip on my trips to deal with that, but I forgot. So, bring one if you bring a laptop or want to charge your cell phone. Showerhead comes to about chest height and I'm just under 6 foot. There are rocks on the beach in Crescent City softer than the bed. I booked for two days, stayed one night, didn't return for the second. In essence: Summer time brings about shortages in Northern California for accommodations. This place has walls, it's sturdy, and it's quiet. But don't expect anything else. Recommend only as a last resort.

terrible. Air conditioner was not working. Room was very tired and not very clean. Would never stay there again

Good overnight no frills room. Clean, lots of TV channels, quiet, comfortable. Good location on North end of town.

Good price.
