Great escape. You will feel like your on a fancy vacation

nice staff, good parking lot and good hotel to stay

Old hotel that has been reconditioned. Overall nice place but be prepared to wake up at 6:00 am daily due to outside noise. You can even hear a conversation from the outside. Spa area was really nice. Breakfast is lacking, okay if just for one day. Great if you like nothing but carbs. Room was very nice but small bath. Looks like one of the best options in Eureka

My wife and I were going through Eureka for one day and looked into just about every hotel in the area. Most hotels in the area are outside of town. There's not a great selection near downtown and this one seemed to be the best of the bunch. The price could have been a little cheaper but the hotel was clean and the staff at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good except that there weren't many vegetarian/vegan options (not even soy milk for the cereal). Overall a good experience though.

The hotel room was clean, but it was very cold and the heat didn't appear to be working. I was too tired to call down for help, so spent most of the night trying to sleep while freezing! They offered a limo to drive you to whereever you wanted in town - an interesting idea, I thought. I didn't take them up on it, but thought it was interesting option for those who might want to have a few cocktails and not drive back to hotel.

I was very impressed with the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness and attention to detail. This place is very well taken care of, and very well run. We really enjoyed the limo service, and the breakfast was very nice. The breakfast room was spotless!

Close to old town Eureka. Complimentary limo ride to local eateries. Clean, great price. Fantastic outside heated pool and recreation area.

My stay at the Humboldt Bay Inn was great. The room was very clean, the patio area with pool table was very quiet. Limo service was an unexpected suprise...of course I went to dinner in the limo. lol I will definetly return for my next trip. A little pricy but well worth themoney. Kara Harmon

Very difficult getting parking close to room and very noisy room location at top of stairs. Thin walls, could hear snoring from adjacent room, all night. Would not choose to stay there again.

The hotel itself is VERY nice and clean, however, it is wedged between two busy roads on the boundary between the downtown area and the sad decaying/decayed industrial zone of Eureka. Outstanding service and polite staff, just a rather peculiar location.

This is a great hotel. I perfer this hotel over others in Eureka becuase of the outside patio area, limo service, and great customer service. My only suggestions for this hotel would be to add more variety to breakfast options and a better wifi connection. This hotel also has a much higher rate than other int the area.
