the room was very cleaned. we only stay one night.

Whenever I can travel from the East Coast to visit my son and his family in Arcata, I always book accommodations at the Red Lion Inn! I know I will get a wonderful night's sleep every night-the beds are so comfortable and there is never disturbing noise heard from the hallways as in other hotels. Then every morning I can count on a delicious full and healthy breakfast to begin my days of adventures with family. Now even my six year old granddaughter wants to join me in "sleep-overs" when ever I stay here!

Clean rooms nice staff. Good stop for road trip. Close to redwoods and beach.

The hotel was large and spacious. The staff was great. The location is a little rough but not terrible. The breakfast was the same one one that is typically included at RedLion but for $10.25 we went elsewhere for breakfast. We came late and left early. It was perfect for that.

Good services s overall for a business trip. The room was clean and I had a quiet stay. Restaurant recommendations were good from staff.

There's a "smell/scent" like from an "Old Closet" we noted from the elevator & hallway areas! Otherwise, sorroundings & our room are very clean!

Phone was broken, elevator broke with kids in it , coffee was not restocked in room and could not call down because phone was broke . Staff was nice though .

Room felt a little musty but overall was clean. Staff was very friendly. Liked that pets - regardless of the number - stay for a one-time fee of $15. They state a max of 2 pets, but accommodated our 3 because they are all small. Breakfast buffet was just "okay" and I didn't think it was worth $11, but it was just convenient.

We stayed 2 nights, in a king room. everything in the room was clean and neat. There is no view of the ocean at all, our room overlooked the main street and parking lot. The AC did not seem to work as an AC, but more as a fan, so we opened the sliding glass door onto the balcony for more air. We felt very comfortable on the 3rd floor, that no one could see into our room. Fridge was cold, and TV remote worked well. We did not use the microwave. We purchased the full breakfast buffet with our stay, and it was very good. The pool area was clean and nice. The hot tub knob was broken, but the hot tub was still nice to use. Really, I would have rated this hotel a 5, except the wifi was absolutely terrible. I would sign on, then 30 seconds later it would completely disappear. As in, not available. For the entire 2 days of our stay. Really - they should just advertise "possible wifi" instead of "free wifi". But that's the only negative - it was a good stay.

The room was very neat and clean. Good size bathroom. Loved the lotions, shampoo and bodywash. Didn't get the chance to use the pool because it was raining when I was there. Next time then. Can't wait to go back. Get price too.

This is a pet friendly hotel with the first floor rooms particularly for K9s and human companions. Reasonable pet deposit fee of $15 per stay. Grassy areas outside for pets and waste bags available. Complimentary full breakfast per registered guest. However, pets cannot be left unattended in rooms so a couple with pet has to eat separately so that someone is always with the pet - even when on hotel premises. Good breakfast food. Do not recommend the hotel restaurant for dinner; over priced and mediocre quality. Facilities are dated; hasn't been renovated in a while. Tub sink constantly dripped. I reported it to the front desk clerk, who asked if I wanted it fixed...(?) Plenty of parking spaces and lighting in parking lot. Not situated in the best part of the town. Overall, okay place to stay when nicer hotels don't have vacancy and good place with a pet travel companion.

My one comment about this facility was a dirty towel from a previous guest was left on the coat hook on the back of the bathroom door. The front desk was nice enough to comp my breakfast the next morning, it wasn't necessary but a very nice gesture.

I read reviews about this part of town being sketchy.. Well it's not. We got in late and I had accidentally book a handicap room, our check in guy saw both of us were okay and put us in a normal room. Breakfast was soooo good and staff was nice, room was comfy.

very pleasant stay came to eureka to see our granddaughter how is in collage for a few days will stay at this hotel again

Would like to have had time to check out the complimentary bicycles, but more than made up for it by over indulging in the complimentary breakfast. Eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, potatoes, and more.

Great hotel for our overnight stay in Eureka. The facilities were clean, staff friendly and easy to park the car and walk to Old Town and restaurants.

Very big room space. The location is good, from walking distance there are many fast food restaurants. The view is also good, in the room we can see the whole town. Friendly staff and clean rooms. Would prefer stay next time when traveling Eureka again.

Great value for the price, walking distance to good restaurants, short drive to downtown, shopping, nightlife.

This location exemplifies why I almost always choose a Red Lion when available. They are simply consistent, fairly priced and always friendly, clean and comfortable. And so is this location. While waitig in the lobby for a friend I saw two interactions of staff with guests that were professionally handled to the guest's satisfaction. That speaks volumes.
