Waterfront Dream Cottage With A Million Dollar View, HARBOR Unit

UNIT NAME: HARBOR

This beautiful private waterfront vacation home is located on the 165+ft of picturesque shorefront in Gills Rock, Wisconsin. The floor to ceiling windows offer a panoramic water view to Hedgehog Harbor from kitchen, dining room, living room and bedroom loft. The magnificent sunsets overlooking Door Bluff can be enjoyed either from inside the house or from the large flagstone private outside patio in the back yard. The patio is great for entertaining with an area for grilling (charcoal grill available; charcoal not provided) and a fire pit (firewood not provided).

The lakefront beach offers great swimming) and water fun opportunities for water lovers (rocky bottom). Enjoy the starry night in the hot tub located on the lakeshore (open May 1st through end of October). The property is located only two minutes walking distance from a marina. The house has an attached roomy three car garage used as a game room on the main floor (shared with another unit) with an easy access to the unit. The open floor concept allows great flow between the living room, dining room and the kitchen with beautiful tile and wood flooring and Scandinavian imported wood wall paneling. The kitchen has gorgeous granite counter tops and rich cherry colored cabinetry. All basic kitchen appliances (gas stove with oven, microwave, toaster, regular coffee maker) and dishes are available. The newly remodeled modern looking spacious easy access tiled bathroom on the main floor also includes a specious brand new electric sauna.

The old beams off bedroom located in the open loft offer the area a lot of charm in addition to additional beautiful views of the lake.
There is a queen and twin bed in the loft, a pullout couch in the dining room and a pullout couch in the living room.

After multiple stays, we can confidently say this is the most ideal place we've ever booked.The hosts are truly exceptional – warm, attentive, and thoughtful in every detail. NO PRIVACY!!! Surveillance camera in game room as soon as you enter. Neighbors allowed to come on property and use kayaks. Neighbors also stood by hot tub while my daughter was in it. (These weren’t ppl from the other unit, they were neighbors who said owner told them they could use them) Also, three yard works and owner came to do yard work while I was in hammock in wet swimsuit & towel on first full day. The yard didn’t even need it; grass was already short. No warning when they arrived. I was told to move so they could mow under hammock and around trees. Also, owners popping in unannounced whenever they wanted! Air conditioner worked poorly, moldy coffee grounds left in coffee maker, dirty hot tub with no chlorine, poor WiFi and only really accommodated 2 adults comfortably for sleeping! Will NEVER come here again!

Beautiful home! The MOST beautiful location! We truly enjoyed staying here. Loved the sunsets. Enjoyed the hot tub and sauna. We enjoyed the clear canoe and our dog LOVED swimming in the crystal-clear water. Relaxing, serene location perfect for country walks. We enjoyed watching boats coming in and out of the harbor. Host stopped by to say hi and was so friendly! Would stay here again!!!

Another great time here, the views are spectacular, and while we were here we had some snowy weather which is just icing on the cake. So manny things to do from the snow mobile tour with bar hopping to the dining options. It was so nice to visit in the off season, there is just so much beauty here!!!Thanks again Door County!!!
