We enjoyed being close to the restaurants in Ellison Bay and walking in the neighborhood. We received a quick response when having some difficulty with WIFI which was appreciated.

We are 3 over 75 women. We didn't walk to shops but it was easy to drive wherever we wanted to go. We had trouble getting into the house because I had printed out the information and forgot it. Next time I'll save the email somewhere on my phone. It's difficult to get help from vrbo. The house was very clean and the owners were attentive. We enjoyed our stay.

Charming cottage ideal for families or two couples. Tasteful decor and everything we needed for a weeklong stay. Extra linens and beach towels were much appreciated. Location was peaceful and quiet, yet only 10-15m drive to many Door County parks and destinations. As other reviews have noted, a little extra cleaning attention could be given to the bathroom and kitchen. We would love to stay again and hope the washing machine can be repaired (this was a key criteria for us in selecting a Door County rental).Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful property with us!

Cute little cottage

Nice place to stay in Ellison Bay. Very secluded with all the bushes, trees and flowers but close to shops and food as well. House was roomy. Loved the shower. Everything you need minus washer and dryer which was out during our stay but only a minor inconvenience. We did have trouble with it being super warm in the bedroom upstairs and house could use a good deep clean overall. Host were responsive. Nice stay. Would stay again.

Cute, cozy and accommodating!

The owner of the property is amazing! She is responsive and helpful. The cottage was clean and charmingly decorated. Our group of 3 fit comfortably, there would’ve been room for more. I would love to stay here again! Five stars!

Biking Heaven

The cottage is in an ideal location for biking and restaurants. Very quiet after a hard days play. Our only complaint(s)were the bathroom sink needs some TLC, trickle of water at most and the sink was very slow to drain. Needed more kitchen trash bags. Ole time bikers

Location!

If you want to have everything within walking distance and feel you're in what Door County used to be like, this is the place to stay. All the comforts of home, in quaint Ellison Bay. From coffee shops to gifts shops and boutiques. Antiques to dining, beaches to sunsets, it's all waiting for you to come and enjoy while you stay at the cottage.

Beautiful, spacious Ellison Bay cottage (in town!)

My family was so lucky to get this little cottage. We come every year to Door County, but I hadn't spent much time in Ellison Bay. Staying here completely changed my mind on this part of the peninsula. It's so charming and quiet and has great coffee within walking distance. The house itself is very clean, bright, spacious and had every amenity my kids (ages 11, 9 and 7) could want. Loved the private parking in the back too. Our hosts were responsive and helpful as well. We'd definitely recommend this home to our friends, and if we are ever in need of another DC rental we will look it up again!

Wonderful home away from home

Our family of seven loved the cottage! It was the perfect home base for our Door County vacation. It was much larger than we expected and everyone had their own bed. The upper loft was an unexpected bonus. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes, everything was very clean and well decorated, and we had plenty of privacy. My wife and I loved walking to the coffee shop and the general store every morning. One heads up for other guests: we found a couple of ticks just about every day, so beware if you have little ones especially. Not a problem with the cottage itself, but a good thing to watch out for during your stay. We’ll be back and will be sharing this place with our friends!
