Very noisy; we could hear people in rooms that weren’t adjacent to ours. In our room, there was only one nightstand for two beds. The outside lights were aimed poorly and lit up our window all night. The bathroom light could not be turned on without also turning on a loud fan. The stairwell doors did not close, which seems like a fire hazard.

Stayed there overnight twice in a week as it was midway driving from home to our vacation destination and back home again. We will stay again when we make that trip the next time. The hotel was well maintained and the rooms were clean. The continental breakfast was a great start to each morning. We don’t have kids, but the indoor pool would be a great way for the kids to relax at the end of a travel day. Easy access on and off the interstate and plenty of places to choose from for every meal. Gas stations are nearby too. The prices were FABULOUS compared to other hotels in the area. Hotel staff were friendly and efficient. The only downside (not the hotels fault) is that the low costs attract some less desirable people to stay there. Coming to and from the parking area on the side of the hotel was a little concerning at night having to pass through 4 guys acting sketchy with hoodies up hanging out to smoke and talking foul mouthed. I wasn’t too concerned, but my wife was really scared. Maybe make a smoking area away from the entrance doors would help and the presence of a security guard.

This was rated as wonderful on here so we trusted that but it should not be at that level at all. It should be average. So we walk in after 10pm with our kids to two women playing some kind of casino slot machines in the hallway that we have to walk past to get to the elevator. There is a smell of smoke. Forgot to mention our son stepped in a dog poo right outside door five entrance as we walked in. We heard dogs barking while in our room also. The room was fairly clean although the curtains were disgusting. And our view was of a dirty roof top. The shower was good. The bath towels were small and various quality. A sign in the bathroom saying how they have items for sale listing the prices for the alarm clock, bedding etc and how if you just take it they assume you want to buy it and will charge you… Then the icemaker with strict signs of no filling ice chests with the ice- what else do you need ice for if you are travelling??? The breakfast was varied but the quality was bad. Again strict signs that food must not be taken from breakfast area. It makes you wonder about the people that stay there with them having so many signs like that. On the back of the key card it has recommendations to be safe… again… who stays here for them to put that? I would not recommend or go back and wish I hadn’t been lured by the rating of wonderful and stuck with Marriott where they are happy to have guests.
