On the way to Mishawaka, Ind. to visit family we stayed at the Fairfield Inn. We have stayed at other Marriott properties but not at a Fairfield Inn recently. This could not have been nicer. The desk clerk, Donnie, was very pleasant and personable. He knew about local eateries and was a great help. If all Fairfield Inns are like this we will be booking them in the future.

Our group of six was there on a Saturday night. There was a kids beauty pageant that evening as well. We had peaceful coexistence with the others but a cocktail lounge or good restaurant would have been welcome. Rooms were comfortable.

This Fairfield Inn is in an excellent location. There are numerous food options close by the hotel. The condition of the hotel could use some work as I did detect a slight musty odor in the room however the room was clean. The hotel is dated with a need of a remodel or light renovations like new carpet and room AC. The front desk was very helpful in recommending an adjacent BBQ restaurant which you could walk to. Great stay, clean, good location and service.

Donnie was very accommodating, plesant, and helpful. Staying here was a great experience from the moment we walked through the door till the time we checked out. We would definitely stay here again in the future

Room has strong mildew type odor overlaid with excessive amount of odorizer, I should have asked for another room but was tired. I opened the window and it still didn't get rid of the odor. This isn't your typical Fairfield Inn, its old and needs to be refurbished.

Very nice pool and spa. This hotel had the best Fairfield breakfast of our whole 2 week trip. Real bacon, warm biscuits, sausage gravy, and then there was usual mystery eggs. We had no issues with our room.

Like many people who visit Elizabethtown, we were attending a youth sports tournament. We checked in about 7pm, and the hotel appeared very busy. We had two rooms, and the housekeeping in each was lacking. One room had a bed which was poorly made, and a partially used shampoo left in the bathroom. The other had damage and wear throughout, including a very disturbing stain on the curtain. We immediately called to request different rooms, and were told that only one room was available, and did not meet our bed needs. No other options were given. The breakfast was fine, the pool was crowded, the elevator makes disturbing noises. There is not room to walk around the pullout in 331 when it is opened. We did contact Marriott corporate, and were promised improvements that evening. The improvements did not occur. The morning staff comped the rooms, but I am not confident that anything will change, and would not recommend the hotel to anyone. We have been loyal Marriott customers and stayed at many Fairfield locations, but never again will we stay at this one.

Hotel sits back off the road and entrance was not well marked. But once inside, we were warmly greeted and quickly checked in. Clerk also recommended several restaurants, some of which gave 10% discount to hotel guests. Room and bathroom were clean and spacious. Breakfast was varied and delicious! Hotel was at full occupancy, but it was very quiet. Room needs more outlets!! We had to use bathroom outlets to charge cellphones since the few in the room were needed for our tablets. But we would definitely stay here again.

We are Elite Marriott members and have stayed at several Fairfield Inn and Suites. This one was by far the worst one. We called to try and check in a few minutes early so we could get to the ballpark on time. We were told we should be able to until we got there and we're turned away. When we returned after our game we were told the elevator was out of service but we could try it. As we were walking toward the elevator my wife nearly fell when she slipped in a puddle of water. Our room was very small but fairly clean. We asked for a late checkout since we had a weird schedule on Sunday and were told no (even though Elite members are supposed to be able to get them). Breakfast was ok, saw a piece of half eaten pizza laying on the floor by the door for at least 12 hours. If you aren't there for the beautiful sports complex then I would stay elsewhere.

Unless your child is part of a sports team, do NOT stay here. This hotel caters to kiddie sports participants at the local fields and to NO ONE else. Despite being relatively close to Makers Mark, avoid this place if you want a decent night's sleep. Otherwise, you will have to put up with kids running the halls and staircases at all hours. The staff is incapapable of controlling the kids and the Management is NOT interested in anything except the money that they are making from kiddie sports. Accosting parents almost resulted in an altercation.
