Room was ok, did have a musty smell from the air conditioner. Bed was comfortable enough. Not sure what was going on with the people staying there, many looked homeless, or maybe in recovery? Quite a few hanging around outside the front doors.

Upon checking in, there was a woman in the lobby complaining about a bad smell in her room. When I got to my room, it smelled like a septic tank. There was obviously a plumbing problem. I was there for 3 nights, and complained to the front desk every day. Nothing changed. The manager should have found a room with no smell and offered it to me. They seemed indifferent.

Stayed 1 night on labor day weekend and paid 83 bucks. The room was decent size and pretty clean. I liked the standing bath which was recently renovated I guess. Overall the property was great according to the price. Also, there is an Indian restaurant 3.2 miles away which was average but after a full day at Mammoth that is just what I needed.Would love to stay again.
